  1. Yes, I definitely lost in my feet. Not only did they shrink in length, but they also shrank in thickness(which is prob why they shrank in length). Many of my old comfy shoes are simply too big now.
  2. Sleeved April 1. Weight on that day-235. Today-157
  3. I am a firm believer in listening to your intuition and inner voice. You know what you should do. Don't drag it out. What better time to think of yourself in a new way? Start fresh with the goal of taking care of yourself physically, mentally and emotionally. Let it go.
  4. I am o negative too. I don't think this is a concern. I have had two c sections and two other surgeries in various states and countries, and none of my doctors ever mentioned complications other than if the baby was positive.
  5. Three weeks? That has not been my experience. Mine started about 2.5 months out and is still going at 7 months out. It has slowed down now some, but it is still more than usual. My nutritionist said it usually goes until around 7-9 mos and then has a dormant period of a couple of months and then starts growing back. I haven't heard of anyone's not growing back though. I do so hope not.
  6. Great job! You look wonderful. You also look so much younger!
  7. Best wishes to you. Hopefully it will go smoothly and you will be back recovering in no time at all.
  8. I don't think so. I looked at the levels and they were comparable to BA and Celebrate. The daily dosage for the women's is two tablets per day anyway tho,but I don't think that taking four would be wise. Just my opinion tho.
  9. That's wonderful! You honestly don't look like you could lose anymore. You look great! Awesome accomplishment.
  10. I used it for about 6 weeks over the summer. The smell was driving my son crazy. It is strong. I don't think I saw any results, but I'm of a mind now that it's just gonna fall out for a while no matter what.
  11. No, it depends on your surgeon. I did not have one and was thankful.
  12. I am having hair loss. It started at month three and is still going now in month 5. I'm hoping it will slow and cease soon!
  13. Best wishes to you for a speedy recovery and short stay in the hospital.
  14. I was not on a preop diet either. I didn't have any problems. There are a number of us on here whose doctors didn't require them too. Good luck.
  15. I use them. I mix them with water cause I get the fruity ones. I like the lemonade. I did not like cappuccino one at all. It was too sweet for me. The fuzzy navel one is pretty good too. I try to use more than a scoop. Sometimes two.
  16. I am Sorry to hear about your troubles. Are you sure, though, that our doctor intended for you to up your sugar as in real sugar? I'm sure he meant sugar in food. In that case, fruit would be a great option that would also help with constipation. Have you tried any fruits? I think, like the other poster said, that it may be well worth your while to have a set schedule for your eating. Best of luck and well wishes to you.
  17. I had this reaction to both brands. I am now taking GNC Be Well pill vitamins.
  18. I had very immediate nauseous response to both BA and Celebrate vitamins. I gave up on them and am now taking GNC be whole multivitamins. They are regular vitamins that you swallow but not difficult for me at all. Incidentally, I have been searching for physiological reasons why they made me so sick and the ingredients are very similar to the GNC vitamins except that there is Iodine in the bariatric vitamins, which isn't in the GNC. I'm not saying that's the cause, but I don't know why the reaction is so strong for so many people.
  19. I am losing a good bit too. Currently trying apple cider vinegar rinsing. It is said to regulate scalp ph. I don't know if it will do anything, but it's worth a shot. Hopefully it will stop on its own soon???
  20. I am currently using ACV to try and lessen hair loss. You can Google it. I use it diluted in a big glass of water and rinse with it after shampooing and conditioning. It is said to regulate the ph in the scalp. I am using Braggs which I bought at Earthfare. We'll see how it goes.
