Surgery Tomorrow! Finally My Big Day Has Arrived

Hello everyone, I'm so excited. I've waited for a little under a year. Finally the day has come, tomorrow I will be sleeved. I can't wait. I've been on clear liquid diet, and I'm fine. I'm just mentally and physically ready for this. I think I have everything, gas x strips, vitamins, pillow, ect. So any tips, recommendations, thoughts, and prayers are appreciated as well as welcomed.

Ok, so I'm still on the hospital. Doing ok. From my understanding everything went very smooth. I have not gotten up yet, as I had a late start to my surgery 5pm. I have not had anything to drink. My doctor just came by and said for me to start.drinking, and walking. Thanks to all the well wishers.

My surgery was also late in the day and I did not get back to my room until around 7pm. they did not get me up to start walking until the next morning and I had no problems at all. I had very little pain and never took any of the pain pills they gave me after I was released. I did have some acid which they did give me meds for and I took them for about 2 weeks. I am glad that your surgery went well and hope that your next days are good and you are able to start moving and get back home.
