Thought it might be fun to get some recommendations for new grocery items to add to my shopping list. Spices, grab n go items, anything really.

Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods are my places where I do 95% of my shopping.

Gianelli's Hot Italian chicken sausage at Aldi. I'm not sure if every Aldi carries this but its good! When I use to have a hard time getting my protein in and needed something quick I would buy this. I'd would squeeze out the sausage from the casing, break it up/saute it, then scramble an egg in it. I've also tried their spinach and feta chicken sausages and I personally don't like them, but m aybe its just me. I know they're popular.

My bf went to Aldi this morning because they were all out yesterday and all they had today was the multi seed. It’s something!

I got my hands on a loaf of the zero carb bread the other day and tried making a sandwich with light mayo and deli turkey, but I don't think my stomach agrees with it yet... darn! The same thing happened with low-carb tortillas. I'll try again in a month or so...

I got the variety pack of Magic Spoon cereals last week, and I've tried a couple of bowls since then.

One 1 oz serving plus 4 oz milk comes to about 15g of protein. The texture is pretty good and crisp, and it holds up pretty well sitting in the milk if you eat slow like I do. Flavor is good but I'm not sure if I'll buy them again as they are a touch too sweet for me. I also can't shake the fact that seems like a 'fake' food, but I think that criticism is a little unfair.. the protein shakes I drink every day aren't any more 'real' ?‍♀️

Yeah well, I'm kind of envious of all these Trader Joe items.

I’m not usually in favor of premature pumpkin spicing, but it’s getting crisp out and this pumpkin pie Greek yogurt is my new breakfast treat!

Look what showed up on my doorstep this morning!!!

So they are only 4 inch tortillas, so pretty much street taco size...but also a great bariatric size. They smell great, but I won't be able to do a taste test until dinner, but am already adjust my dinner planning to be able to include them. Instead of chicken salad in a ramekin, I'll do a couple of wraps. I'm absolutely excited and hope that they taste as good as they look because this will be a game changer.
