  12. Spinach, tomato, green peppers, black beans, avocado, nutritional yeast, homemade vegan Ranch dressing. I ate half.
  13. Eat two to three fresh kiwi ? every day you will have no more constipation problems . It may take a few days at first but it works naturally n it tastes good.
  14. Tofu scramble! Half a block of tofu , mixed frozen veggies, frozen green beans, nutritional yeast, and I will throw a handful of fresh spinach in before I warm it up for breakfast. This will be three meals worth for me. I love this breakfast! I may also throw a few slices of avocado on top tomorrow.?
  15. First year out three shots of espresso on ice and 4 pumps of sugar free vanilla. I would then add a vanilla protein shake. Now Venti cold brew (black)
  16. I am a full on vegan. I eat whole food plant based diet. I had surgery July 2020. As long as you eat your veggies n some beans even a sweet potato they all have protein. I have amazing blood results I only take vitamin D and B complex every other day. I have lost 106 lb n kept it off even after recovering from a total hip surgery one year almost to the day from my sleeve surgery. You should not fear the crazy high protein. Your body will let you know what it needs. There is always Vegan protein shakes and you can blend some green smoothies n drink through out the day. You will be fine. I love listening to Dr Garth Davis’s lectures on YouTube. He is a vegan Bariatric surgeon. Why don’t you give him a listen. You will probably have less stress feeling after you hear him and feel more confident in the process. Good luck!
  17. Just made homemade apple sauce. It’s literally just four apples n cinnamon and 1/3 cup water in my insta pot for 8 minutes. I picked the apples at the farm today. This was so tasty.
  18. Smooth move tea! You can find it in either tea section or health food section of some grocery stores. It has never failed me. Make cup of tea steep for 15 minutes covered squeeze tea bag n drink. By next morning or a few hours you are moving multiple times.
  19. Question dose anyone know of an app that if you put all the ingredients you are cooking with if it will make macros for them. I kinda like creat weird concoction and have know way to figure out what the macros are. Any input would help thank you.

  21. I have to admit I don’t like my weight right now. I was at 182lb one day of hip surgery and was back up to 195 after surgery but my surgeon said it was swelling n water retention. I am today down to 188lb so I am going back down and there is still a good amount of inflammation on my hip n thigh so I am confident he was right. I still unfortunately see myself the same way I saw myself in the mirror at 286lb however I do know mentally I am smaller. I can wear a size 12 jeans and size large or x large shirt. I was at The Hella Mega Tour the other night and I was excited not only because of seeing my favorite but I was at the t shirt stand and for once in my life I knew I could pretty much have any T-shirt I wanted because for once I didn’t need some crazy 3x or 2x shirt n still worrying that it would not fit the way I like. I think I may never like my reflection in the mirror but I do know I am in a better place health wise then before. I am so happy for everyone. Keep on doing good and don’t be strangers ?

  24. I am glade you are doing fantastic. I finally made up my mind to get the hip replacement because I could barely stand for more then a half hour without being in a lot of pain and it was effecting how much I could exercise. I was getting cortisone injections in the one hip four times a year and my other hip was very quickly because much worse so I had gotten two injections in that one as well and in January I got no relief from the injections so I said ok time to try because I didn’t go through the Bariatric surgery just to be stuck in a power chair for the rest of my life. So one year and one week later after Bariatric surgery I was in surgery again . I was scared to death. Much more scared the withe VSG surgery and hiatal hernia surgery. However I have to tell you I had the hip replacement on July 13; 2021 at 7am. I was up n walking two and half hrs later and home in my bed by 5:30 pm. I was in house Physical Therapy next day. Driving myself to PT the following Monday which was only six days later and back to work two weeks later. I only needed pain meds for two days. I used a walker for about a week maybe week and a half and Cain for another week and nothing after that. I have PT three times a week. I have to tell you this was wayyyy easier surgery n recovery then my Bariatric surgery. I ham hoping my other hip stops falling apart now that it’s not compensating for the other one. I’m 49 yrs old so not young but I would definitely say don’t fear the hip replacement surgery because you have most likely gone through rougher surgery with Bariatric. Great job so fare . It was nice hearing from you.
  25. How is everyone doing. This chat has been very quiet for along time. Well we are all now 1 year out. I’m doing ok. Still not where I thought I would have been but I guess it’s at least healthier. I am 101 lbs down. I still want to loose another 35 lbs but am seriously loosing hope. The scale just doesn’t want to move for months now. Very disappointing. I had a total hip replacement one month ago so I can’t really do crazy exercise right now but all in all I am doing fine. So how is everyone doing? Hopefully everyone is doing good and is healthy n safe where ever you are.
  26. I did regret getting the surgery for about four weeks after because recovery was ruff I also had a hiatal hernia repair and my hip got messed up some how during the surgery and could barely walk on it for a week and a half. Mind u the hip was in bad shape before surgery so it didn’t take much. How ever I am 11 months out and 88 pounds down n I do have trouble digesting steak it doesn’t sit well and I really don’t miss anything and now my only regret is that I didn’t do it 10 yrs ago. Hershey Reese’s peanut butter cup are in sugar free ! Just so you know the sell them at target. I love just know if I really need a peanut butter cup I can have one. Good luck ?
  27. I start with water while I do a spin class then shower n make four shots of espresso with sugar free vanilla flavor and a vanilla Fairlife nutrition shake in it over ice. That will last until about noon n lunch then at around 2pm and so on.
  28. I was sleeved in beginning of July and by August I was walking an orchard for exercise and picking peaches n Apples by September 1 and I lived on them that was my favorite thing granted it took me two day to finish an apple but I never got a leek you just make sure you chew good n listen to your pouch it will tell you if it doesn’t like something. Trust me when it happens you won’t do it again lol
  29. I’m nine months out and started at some 20’s and some 18’s and two months ago I dropped to size 16 however my friend gave me some jeans n most are 14 n 12 but one is a 18 and it is skin tight way way smaller everywhere the my 16’s are . So yeah sizes are different all over in different brands and it can make you feel really like your not achieving what you want so I feel your pain I do. I thought I would be in a lower size by now and am disappointed but I just keep hoping everything will work out sooner rather then later.
