1200 calories per day since week three after surgery. Will be upping calories to 1400-1600 for maintenance.

7 1/2 years, between 1200-1400 a day. I'm 63 so I need fewer calories than previously to maintain at 137.

I'm usually around 800-1000 per day. I'm 4 1/2 months post op, and I'm down 79 pounds since the surgery.

3 months post op and aim for 1000 calories a day. I'll probably move that up to 1200 calories in another 6 months or so.

I’m 3.5 weeks and lucky to get 650 calories. So I guess the surgery is effective. I would like a few more calories, any tips from you Alumni would be great.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
