  11. Yeah my gallbladder symptom was simply never ending nausea and inability to eat or drink. And ultimately after the scans it did have to come out. So gallbladder issues don’t always involve the awful painful episodes everyone talks about. But to be fair that is the trademark presentation. I’ve personally always had to be different and extra though ;)
  12. Sunday treat—sugar free red Bull infusion from Scooters coffee. ?
  13. I still eat less than 600cal a day and that works well for me at 6 months PO
  14. I was revised to bypass because I developed GERD after sleeve. Fun times. ?‍♀️ It’s super common unfortunately.
  15. Surgery in MO and no covid test required.
  16. I was revised in KCMO self pay at KC Bariatrics. I felt the price was reasonable and they offer finance options.
  17. Change your diet or your exercise. But not both. If you did that you wouldn’t know which thing worked ? I usually eat a few more carbs or walk a little farther that week to break a weight range.

  19. After your revision, how long did it take for you to hit your goal weight?im a little over halfway to goal at the 5.5 month mark so I feel like I am on track. Just curious what everyone else is experiencing.
  20. I’ve been 119lbs and 300lbs. Now I’m doing a second weight loss journey with 75lbs left to lose. Online dating is for sure different even already—no one wants to date the 300lb me. But the 215 me gets more attention. I can’t imagine what it will be like at my 140 goal. It’s sad, but I truly think a lot of folks aren’t attracted to larger bodies.
  21. Just watch out for the dreaded “change in taste” a lot of people experience. I learned the hard way and had to give so much away because I no longer liked or could tolerate the taste. It was an unfortunate waste of $$$ but I guess you don’t know until you have surgery and find out if your tastes change.

  23. Have you tried the vitamin patches? I did those for a month, PatchAid brand. I personally found a chewable I like off this website but the patch was super easy until I found what I wanted.
  24. This is my halfway point. 75lbs left to lose! 3x to xl so far.

I just love the fact that I can wear a matching set of something again!Haven’t had the bottoms and tops as the same size in ages. Hoping this journey continues smoothly. Doing it all over post revision but having fun with it!
  26. Weight loss is slower than sleeve but I’m still ahead of the curve according to my surgeon’s office. -80 in 5.5 months with 75 to lose still. I’m in Saint Louis but both of my surgeries were in Kansas City where I lived when I started the sleeve journey. I was so comfortable with that office I went back for the revision instead of seeking a STL provider. I do follow with the Mercy system support group though! I know they have a Springfield location of that group too. ?
  27. I’m just here to validate that yes, revision in my experience was much more painful than sleeve!
