Food Before and After Photos

  • Popular Post

Like weight loss before and after photos but of your new diet !

I'm especially interested in before and after meal photos (take a pic at the point you feel restriction) but it can be of recipe substitutions, your refrigerator/pantry/shopping cart/etc

Fixed myself a Halloumi bowl.

Grilled halloumi, soft boiled eggs, blistered grape tomatoes, cucumbers, and my homemade chili crisp which I use on everything. I wasn't even hungry at the end of making this LOL.

How I did 👇

I always make way too much food for myself and then have others finish it for me. I will attempt to eat this later.

Boiled eggs on English muffin covered in cheese. I only ate half. I still have mild egg aversion where some days it’s fine and other days it’s not. But almost always I have to hide the egg from myself 🤣

k, may not be the best food choice for some, but it was the best for me, omg:

Guacamole with 2 chunks of deep fried pork belly and house made tortilla chips.

probably one the top 5 things i've eaten this year. soooo yum.

I ate the smaller pork belly on the left, about 1/3 the gauc and maybe 10 at most of the chips. i'll guess maybe 600-700 calories for what actually went into my stomach (i don't track my food like a crazy person anymore, but i think i can guess relatively accurately...)

i also had an order of 3 tacos, but i didn't bother eating it cuz i wanted all my stomach real estate for this.

again, YUM.

Pancakes and eggs! No calorie tracking for this one because I forgot 😆

Unfortunately I’m completely over eggs for the foreseeable future.

I’ve been hooked on Hailey Bieber’s pizza toast for a while now. I know it sounds vain but it’s really really good.

It’s basically sourdough slathered in truffle oil, toasted, layered with fresh mozzarella, then warm marinara, marinated tomatoes (found that grape tomatoes are best for this recipe) in salt, lemon, cracked pepper, olive oil, buratta, a generous sprinkle of freshly shredded Parmesan cheese and toasted again - I used my air fryer for this - and then sprinkled with pizza seasoning, chili flakes and basil. Make sure to use good quality ingredients for the best results.

It’s labor intensive literally $40 to to make 2 toasts but it’s so worth it LOL. I can manage half on a good day and hubby has the other half.

$40? Which ingredients is the most expensive? Truffle oil?

Good quality mozzarella, burrata and parmesan are expensive where I live unfortunately. They probably equate to 3/4 of the $40 LOL. Also my bakery makes great sourdough but it’s not cheap. I’m also quite picky with my tomatoes, these were $10 for 6 tomatoes smh.

Found an interesting recipe I thought I’d try as an alternative to my usual rolled oats breakfast. Of course, as usual, I loosely followed the recipe swapping maple syrup for my brother’s honey, adding seeds and dried cranberries and omitting the plums on the top. Was intending to add some collagen powder but forgot. You could probably add protein powder too and some nutmeg abd/or cinnamon. I made it in a larger tin (9in instead of 8) and cut it into 12 instead of 9 squares & have frozen several. Looks a bit pale but tastes pretty good like a soft banana cake. Serve with yoghurt for extra protein.

The recipe if anyone is interested. https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/plum_and_almond_baked_08643?fbclid=PAVERFWAPRvwlleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA8xMjQwMjQ1NzQyODc0MTQAAac0tC856cepMaBEzIn-UKneSpDnL8Dm7PAukLylSS-nLYRC5gE8BbadGNBWUQ_aem_UxcaJmY8CfRr6D9gf7eg6Q
