Food Before and After Photos

  • Popular Post

Like weight loss before and after photos but of your new diet !

I'm especially interested in before and after meal photos (take a pic at the point you feel restriction) but it can be of recipe substitutions, your refrigerator/pantry/shopping cart/etc

i've been busy this morning/afternoon!

woke up and decided to clean out the fridge/freezers. there was a bunch of stuff that needed to be used before they went bad so i went to work!

a giant pot of meat sauce (used up the 3 month old frozen beef & pork, some ripe tomatoes, drying out carrots, the last of my onions and garlic, and a whole bunch of basil from the "garden" that we really need to use up before summer is over and the plant dies.

pickled beets (went to farmers market two days ago and bought a bushel of beets for no real reason!)

candied beets

maraschino cherries (costco cherries...gonna make a cherry pie tomorrow)

chinese green onion and ginger sauce (again, i blame the farmers market...bought a bunch of these steriod-like-overgrown green onions and a sack of organic ginger)

didn't actually eat any of this, but i did do alot of tasting. i don't even know where to start to log that in MFP, so im just gonna skip it.

actually, speaking of eating, i haven't eaten anything yet (aside from the tastings..ha!) ...will probably have some of the meat sauce with toast when its done simmering.

The beets look fantastic!

I'm a sucker for shrimp cocktail. Extra horseradish please. In the early days, shrimp was rather difficult but over 2 years out from my revision, no problem (thank goodness).20230612_174308.jpg.325b864b425d9420cacf96000c0e82f0.jpg

For the guys, the dark chocolate with 70 % Cocoa is good for the prostate. ;) one small square a day can help “rejuvenate” your prostate to that of your younger years. No before and after pictures to post though!
Didn't know that. I'm going to start the word to my family members. Thank you.

What is under the curry?

It's a fruity ketchup, fried red onions and (rather dry) seitan sausages. The potato thingy was leftover tortilla (Vemondo brand). Vemondo is LIDL's vegan store brand.

Now I really want to see the price ?

same!

was going to have salt and vinegar chips for breakfast/lunch but then i spilled them all over the couch when i sat down! before i had cats, i would've just scooped em up back into the bowl to eat, but now im a little weary of any cat hair or residual cat poo/pee on said couch so i tossed them ?

went back to the kitchen and got me some breakfast pistachios instead.

240 calories for 2/3 cup. ate it all (just the pistachios, not the cat chips lol)

I’ve actually purchased vemondo products! Unfortunately my local Lidl just closed permanently.

I’m sad that the work salad was $6.50!

Anyway- baked Parmesan meatballs

a spicy chicken bacon ranch flatbread pizza thing and green beans (only are 3/4 the pizza and half the green beans)

very crispy green beans roasted in bacon fat

paprika marinated chicken and mozzarella nooch zucchini with soy sesame cucumbers

This sounds exactly like something that would happen to me!

Well I did make soup from those lamb cutlets (mixed vegetables, cumin, rosemary, mixed herbs, barley). Trimmed off the cutlets to dice the meat & threw the bones in with the sautéing onion, celery & garlic. I had a bowl for dinner but had to pack up the rest to take to my mum’s this morning. She was taken to hospital last night for a few hours with a chest infection because she has limited lung capacity & is prone to pneumonia. At least I won’t have to cook for us for a few days while I’m keeping an eye on her.

PS I’ve decided this is more a potage than a soup because it’s is so thick & chunky. No pxt cause it just looks sort of brown. ?

the inadvertent food twinning continues.

i believe we really do all eat the same things at the same time...kinda like when your periods synch up with ur friends...???

i don't always post what i eat, but do almost always take pictures of it....

@Tomo had shrimp shrimp cocktail, and i had this 3-4 days ago:

and @Arabesque, i also had a pork bone soup but deleted the pic cuz it was unappetizing looking! lol

too funny.
