January/February 2018 Sleevers

Anyone out there in the progress of getting approved and getting a date? I'm aiming for a January date but would not be surprised if it ends up February. Anyone else out there?

I hope everything went well!!!

My date is Feb. 1st!! It’s fast approaching and I’m nervous!

I’m January 30th and I’m starting my liquid diet today. My pre-op class is scheduled for tomorrow.

What are your instructions for liquid diet?

How do you delete a post?

Mine is Feb 6th. I am nervous as well. I am trying to read as many forums as I can to learn from others experience. Seems to me most people are happy with their end results ! Keeps me going!!

How did it go? Mine is next Wednesday

It went good! I was really scared going into surgery but they were really nice & helpful at calming me. I woke up after surgery and was able to start walking later that night. The pain levels settle & become more bearable. Tbe stomach binder is very comforting.

Congratulations!!!! I’ve been binge watching my 600lb life and I don’t think that’s the best idea. I’m completely freaked out now. I’ve never had surgery never stayed in a hospital. So I’m a bit freaked out. Good to know your experience was good. What state are you in?

I know it's not the same surgery but I had 4 surgeries in 2017 for ovarian cancer including two twilight procedures. You'll be just fine. Before you even know it you'll be waking up and ready to start your new life.

I know. Just breathe. They do give you something to calm you before surgery usually so one minute you're freaking out then you're like.....okay.....yes....I can do this.....lol.
