My Instagram is Brittney_.Johnson for those that would like to keep in touch with me. It's my personal though. Creating one for our weight loss journey is probably a really good idea!

I'm on day 4 of liquids and really hoping this will get easier. I have been thinking of taking a bite out of the oak tree in my front yard. Lol

It gets so much easier. You'll get to the point where you aren't tempted by things anymore. Just stay busy :)

I have an 8:30 am check in time tomorrow. I've drank my quart of GoLitely and it's doing its thing. Since only a quart was required I'm hoping it won't take forever to be done doing its thing :)

All of the April 11th surgery peeps, Good luck tomorrow. Hoping and praying for all of us to have a successful and quick recovery and for all of us to begin a new chapter in our lives.

So glad to have this support group. Everything that is being shared is so helpful! I am having gastric sleeve late July or early August and this site is helping me get ready. My surgeon requires 3 weeks of Protein shakes pre-op. Has anyone else had to do this?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
