  8. Hey Ladies! It's funny to see the stall period... I too was stalled at 35 lbs!!! This week FINALLY started to see the # go down again... I'm at 38 now.... Creeping up on 40!!!! I have been walking but I think upping my walk game has helped. food is such a strange thing to me now.... I never noticed how much food everyone eats on the regular. It grosses me out. LoL my biggest complaint is that I have thrown up quite a few times after eating. But I can identify my issues with eating too fast! Keep up the good work everyone!!!! I want to see pictures!! 12. Hi! I got my approval for food yesterday!! I don't have to go to puréed foods, I wonder why? I can have any meats (softer the better) and a whole list of veggies and fruits no bread, no Pasta. Last night I had 2 oz of chicken and 2 tbsp steamed carrots. It was like heaven in my mouth. Hahahaha good luck to everyone getting started with food again!! Ashlie M Sent from my iPhone
  13. I know it's awful to say but it makes me feel so much better knowing I am simply not alone. Thank you Mia for commiserating with me Ashlie M Sent from my iPhone

  15. Definitely not alone. It's a change that our bodies couldn't have been prepared for no matter how much prep we went through. I'm struggling quite a bit with it too. So tired. Ugh. Keep me updated on you and I will do the same. Ashlie M Sent from my iPhone

  17. Well I am 6 days post op and I am struggling to even have the desire for food and or Water. Ugh. I was hoping it would be easier by now but I am really having to force myself to drink let alone Protein. Ashlie M Sent from my iPhone
  18. I have had both and I'd say they were fairly equal. The gas just plain sucks. I mean we can get a guy to walk on the moon but we can't suck out all of the gas after surgery. Ugh. I'm so sorry but just think of it as a means to an end! Ashlie M Sent from my iPhone
  19. How is everyone feeling today? To be honest I am a mess. My emotions have taken over and I can cry at the drop of a hat. Ugh. Talked with the surgeon and they suggested an anxiety med for a bit. Which is helping in my time of need. Hopefully it will all go away when I start to feel like wife mother human again. 20. I know I'm getting in at least 48-64 oz. You do know to count everything like broth, jello, popsicles along with water or decaf tea/coffee toward your liquid intake right? That makes it much easier to get in the liquids. Yeah 64 oz minimum. But thankfully counting other things goes toward that amount. It's the protein intake I'm struggling with. Just not feeling "food" at this point. Day two was for sure the worst of them all and each day I wake up it's a little bit more tolerable. I can't wait for the moment I jump on a scale and see -15 or more!!! Ashlie M Sent from my iPhone

  22. Well it's done! I'm laying in my hospital bed as I type with a new pouch. Haha I have been really really shocked at how smooth my recovery is going. I've been up walking since just hours after the procedure. My comfort level is high, and my spirit is too! I did have an internal reaction to one of the medicines they administered during the procedure, and am now on insulin. Strange to me because I'm not a diabetic. Having my finger pricked every hour all day and night isn't really awesome but eh. It's fine. I hope all of my April 11ers are doing well and feeling good!! Ashlie M Sent from my iPhone
