Insurance paying for protein drinks....

Just an FYI ... I'm 5 days post op with the sleeve. Everything is going well. I just wanted to share what my friend shared with me about getting your drinks paid for through your insurance.

Didn't know if it would go through or not but it did!! I signed up online at Insure Nutrition, gave them my insurance information (make sure it's your prescription plan info) and they did all the work for me. They verified my insurance, contacted my Doctor for the prescription and a week later I received my first shipment!!

You all may already know about this but I didn't and I honestly couldn't have been more surprised that it was approved and had no copay!! My drinks were actually delivered a week before my surgery do they were ready for me!

They also do liquid supplements but my doctor has me on chewable Flintstones lol so I'm doing those instead.

Oh and I'm doing premier chocolate.

Yup..the foil tops...no complaints here though ...encourages me to keep sipping! Cheers! !

How far out do they cover it? I'm 10 months out and could sure use the help buying shakes. I skip a lot if days now as it is with finances. It would be so awesome to get them regularly ! Oh and I'm a little over halfway to goal

I was approved! Got the call today..I have bcbs of Illinois for those who were wondering ..should get my first shipment of shakes and vitamins next week :-)

Awesome...! That gives me hope, I haven't applied yet but I also have BCBS of Il

I have like a 10.00 copay for generic prescriptions. Some more and some less. My card has CVS Care mark on it. Sorry I can't tell you more about my coverage. I don't personally take any daily medicines so I'm not very familiar with it.

My friend that told me about this has a completely different insurance policy than me and her company approved her as well. I do know this - the three people I know who have the sleeve (including myself) all were approved to receive shakes.

So I'm telling everyone I know because those shakes are EXPENSIVE!!

One more thing, the Rep I talked to at my prescription company didn't show Premier products listed or anything even remotely similar. However, I thought shoot they'll pay for crutches so why not check this out.

Now my husband wants to know what else they will pay for that we never knew about lol.

I have cvs caremark as well and it pays for my shakes and Vitamins

It took a couple of weeks but I have Medcost and I am covered and shipped!!!
