What Are You Going To Do After You Hit The Reset Button?!

What's up people. I've been brainstorming about all of the things that I want to accomplish after I lose the weight. I believe that if you speak things into existence, they will happen. So im hoping you guys give your input so that I can steal some your goals and so that they can become a reality for you Lol.

Here is my list that I will accomplish within my first year post op, GOD willing.

I want to:

•shop at Armani Exchange

•cycle in a century

•go skydiving

•go to great adventures amusement park

•run in a race

•take my son to the park and play with him without being short of breath

LIVE!

my life has changed a lot since gaining weight

8/9 years ago i maintained a 6 pretty easily but my wardrobe was all very professional (banker) so one thing i am going to do is buy an entire wardrobe for my new life through a professional stylist to hone in on who i am now.

i have a huge collection of 30s bias cut gowns. id like to wear them again

but in general i dont see my life changing much. maybe i wont dred pics so much :) being in community relations i cant avoid them but i never like them!

I want to buy a GOOD professional wardrobe. I work in Insurance and I have to dress in business attire. I always feel like I look funny in my clothes because I am so heavy and my body is so unproportioned.

I want to be able to follow the fashion advice I give to all the normal size friends.

I no longer want to be the fat friend.

I want to actually play softball at my company’s annual softball outing next fall and not just be a spectator

I want to go to Six Flags and no be nervous about rides. I haven't had a problem yet but I always get nervous.

I want to be a good example to my son. I feel like I encourage him to eat healthy and I want to be a healthy example for him to follow. Children are cruel and I never want my son to hear someone say his mom is fat.

I want to really live up to the Trophy Wife that my husband already feels that I am.

I want to no longer always be "trying to lose weight"

I want to walk into a store and shop off a clearance rack if I want to!

I want to NOT to accidentally turn on the dishwasher at work at lunchtime just by leaning up against it. My belly is too big!!'

I want to be fit. As in, a lean, mean, fighting machine. I take care of my mom who is terminally ill - i want to be strong enough to provide care for her as her condition requires it. I'm working on it. I saw my bicep a few days ago for the first time in years.

I want to get on Facebook - I have avoided it because I was too embarrassed to post an updated photo.

I want to enjoy wearing more fashionable clothes.

There are important people in my life who I have not seen for close to a decade due to embarrassment about my weight. I want to reconnect with them.

And I want to create a future for myself - I am creating a future for myself. Six months ago it seemed pretty bleak. Now, I know that every day brings more opportunity for health, fitness, and long term happiness.

Oh and I want to wear a shirt more than a few times before stuff (salad dressing, etc.) falls on my chest (shelf) instead of over my plate. My boobs are too big!!!

I want to have a family portrait made... I have a wonderful husband and 3 great kids and we do not have any family pics because I have always hidden behind the camera!

I want to buy expensive jeans that look great on me

I want to buy a season pass with the rest of my family for summers at the Water park

I want to go to more School functions without worrying if my kids are embarrassed

I want to jump on the trampoline with my kids

I want to enjoy my wonderful life and live long and healthy....

I plan on going horseback riding..

Cross my legs

Paint my toenails

Not fear turnstiles

Ride in a roller coaster

Fly in coach w/o a seatbelt extender

Horseback ride

Take a bath

Sit on the ground and not be afraid I can't get up

To name a few :)

Wow. It's nice to dream this reality. I would love to date who I like without settling. All the big girls know what am talking about. Buying gorgeous fitting clothes without the tummy bulging. Learn to ride a bike and finally be healthy

Omg! When I lost weight a few years ago I had my heart set on learning to ride a bike. Nobody believed me that I made it 30 yrs without learning.

Learning as an adult was AWESOME! The feeling of 'getting it', when it clicked and I realized I was riding, it was so gratifying. I'm not sure that folks who learned as kids get to savor that satisfaction the way an adult can, its probably long forgotten for them.

Anyhow, I know you're going to love riding as much as I do now. Let me know if you want tips on how to learn!
