  1. I see a difference- give it time My ultimate goal is to get my mother in law to notice my weight loss. She doesn't know about the surgery but complains because I don't eat or drink like I did. I have lost 55 pounds and she hasn't said anything about it. I am half way to goal and not one word.
  2. Still swollen. I almost 4 mo out and am just now able to drink 4 oz. hang in there. Sip sip sip and eat more often.
  3. I was sleeved December 10. Down 55 pounds. Have always been "big" as you say. I am going on vacation Friday and went shopping- bought clothes 2sizes smaller than my "always been 'big'" clothes AND IT FELT GREAT. Now I say to myself, (in a happy tone) "what have I done to myself AND why didn't I do this sooner.! This will pass. Give yourseft a little time and you too will feel it.
  4. Oh and dehydration is worse now than during pre-op. sip sip sip.
  5. You can count water mixed with protein. You might want to regroup after the bed 2 weeks and get right back at it. Low carbs-just like the NUT says. If not then all this will have been for nothing. Start back on clear liquids if you have to but start over and you'll get back on track.
  6. I drink ISP 100 by Dimatize. I can't wait for time to roll around so I can have another.
  7. It isn't as exciting as you think it is to eat again. I am so much more satisfies when I am just drinking my shakes. My NUT has cut me down to 2 shakes a day but I have 2 1/2-3 and I would have 4 but I guess I have to start eating sometime. I don't like the feeling I get when I eat food. I am 3 months out and have lost 50 pounds. I am slowly weening myself off the shakes that I love.

  10. No real pain but it I really strange feeling. You'll do just fine. It is a feeling that can't be described. Just has to be experienced. It is awesome not having that thing in there. Good luck.
  11. I would think it would be BP meds. Low iron wouldn't make you pass out. It would just make you tired.
  12. How will they know?? Everything you ate will have past throughe by then. Don't worry about it and dnt confess to the nurse or you will have problems. Good luck.

  14. Don't beat yourself up. Just get rid of all the bad food in the house and start out fresh with protein shakes and only have what is on the plan. You went through sooooo much to get this done, don't blow it now. You can do this. Hey if I can do this anyone can!!!
  15. SIP SIP SIP constantly. It will get better.
