I'm nineteen days post op. In the last 4 days, I have been unable to eat or drink adequately. I take two small spoons of soup or food and feel overfull. I can't seem to drink more than two or three tiny sips. I have to wait about an hour I between trying to take anymore in. I was able to get 2 ounces in before? Now its more like 15cc. Any input appreciated.

Still swollen. I almost 4 mo out and am just now able to drink 4 oz. hang in there. Sip sip sip and eat more often.

Please speak to your surgeon. A stricture is possible in your time frame- I don't think it is normal to be able to eat LESS as time goes on unless you are transitioning from puree to dense protein. Always safer to talk to the dr.
