  • Popular Post

What's up people. I've been brainstorming about all of the things that I want to accomplish after I lose the weight. I believe that if you speak things into existence, they will happen. So im hoping you guys give your input so that I can steal some your goals and so that they can become a reality for you Lol.

Here is my list that I will accomplish within my first year post op, GOD willing.

I want to:

•shop at Armani Exchange

•cycle in a century

•go skydiving

•go to great adventures amusement park

•run in a race

•take my son to the park and play with him without being short of breath

Nice!!! Yeah I want to dress more fitted. Im pretty much gonna replicate the styles of some of the celebrities I like. The Internet has a wealth of fashion tips and ideas. Thanks for the response

Good goals, I want to rock a pair of true religion jeans. Go zip lining , long term goal is participate in a triathlon

Love this thread!

- I want to try kayaking (without feeling like I will sink the boat)

- Ride the Incredible Hulk at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure with my kids. (couldn't fit in the modified fat seat before)

- Shop at Ann Taylor and Black and White Market (even if I can only afford one thing!)

- Go back to Water parks with my kids and never sit on the beach holding towels again!

- Stop hiding from cameras. Hey I might even become a camera hog! LOL

- Wear my shirts tucked in with a belt!

It's fun to think of all the things we'll be able to do comfortably =)

I want to:

- Go rock climbing

- Skydive

- Go to Cedar Point and be able to fit on the rides

- Participate in a marathon

- Buy jeans at a regular store instead of a plus size store

Wow guys thanks for the responses. I just added a few more things to do to my list. It's crazy how many people deal with the same things I deal with.

Most of my goals revolve around my career and my education (I'm always trying to further both).

I take a top-down approach to goals: start with the biggest ones, and set smaller ones to help me get there.

Meeting my weight loss goals help me reach all my other health and fitness goals. Reaching my health and fitness goals helps me reach all the other goals, like education and career goals.

I want to not see my extended family for a few months and then "wow" them with the new me:)

I want to NOT attend my 20th reunion but rather - Skype all of them from a cruise I'm planning with my high school pals

I want to clean out my entire closet. All of it. No more "just in case"

I want to Water ski again.

Good goals and responses. Let's keep this going!

I want to buy and wear lingerie, i want to get a massage without being embarrased , i want zipline with my husband.

I want to get a family portrait with my husband and 3 kids. I've always said it was because we didn't have the money, but in truth, I have been so embarrassed by how I look that I didn't want to ruin our pictures.

I want to run a 10K.

I think when I hit goal I'm gonna reward myself with a new Harley.

I want to wear regular Jeans instead of stretch jeans .

I want to be able to run for miles without getting tied

I want to take more pictures with my daughter with the same style clothes on

I want to feel like a model again.... No I wasn't a model before but I damn sure looked like one lol..... Yeahhhh those was the days..... Daydreaming......

I want to feel comfortable sitting in any style chair including my daughter play chairs, without thinking I'm going to fall

I also want to wear all types of lingerie

I want to walk down the street and every man wish they can have me, but realize they can't bc I'm out of their league

I want my husband to dream of having sex with me every night

I know its some more stuff I just can't think right now I'll be back

I want to run a 10K.

I think when I hit goal I'm gonna reward myself with a new Harley.

I ran 10k in the Gold Coast Marathon in 2009. I was 110kgs! I was still running everyday for around 20mins and did 5k every 3 weeks until March, I was 121kg. It then became too hard to run. Don't know why I kept putting in weight when I was training and had a PT but can't wait to have the sleeve and start training again and know that I will be losing weight, not gaining it!!

Ps. Love the idea of new Harley!
