  1. don't let that stupid belt take an ounce of pride away from you. You have done amazing so far and you will keep up the good work!
  2. all the time here too.
  3. my fitness pal, it is an app for tracking your food, exercise etc
  4. 4 weeks and very cranky. I am in a stall, pmsing, constipated and sick of the same foods.
  5. 4 weeks out and the same thing. Every time I eat something new, I am afraid I won't like it anymore. water doesn't even taste good. Everything has an aftertaste. Glad to hear it can get somewhere back to normal.
  6. In week two of the three week stall.
  7. 4 1/2 weeks out and stuck at 31 ;pounds for DAYS.
  8. i have a rough time with pretty much all drinks, but for me they need to be ice cold. Its funny how it affects us all differently.
  9. it is probably related to the gas from surgery.
  10. you look wonderful! And cheers for conquering the stall!
  11. sorry about the setback, hope it fixes the problem.
  12. I am always thirsty and nothing tastes good or goes down well because I seem to be incapable of taking sips of anything. My drinking restrictions are causing me waaaaaay more problems than food.
  13. 3 1/2 weeks for me. I am still struggling with the eating and drinking too fast. You think I would learn. LOL
  14. so 10 pre op and 10 since? I only lost 8 on my two weeks pre op liquids but unfortunately gained most of it back with needing a transfusion and a ton of fluids in hospital. I basically walked out from surgery weighing 2 pounds less than before. I am at 28 pounds gone but I am starting from my pre pre op diet weight. So if you are down twenty overall that isn't bad. hang in there?
  15. is the mushy stuff you are eating carb heavy? Everyone is different and I know it is frustrating waiting for it to drop. THe only other idea i have is you aren't getting enough calories in. and drink drink drink what you can.
  16. definitely don't weigh at night. the carbs would be a bit of a worry for me too but I was sleeved 2 days before you and you are ahead of me by 5 pounds on loss and I think I am doing awesome. I started out 10 pounds heavier but we are shooting for the same goal. Its right about this time that I know a lot of people had a mini stall. Hang in there. <3
  17. where you start is going to make a difference too. I am 24.8 at two weeks but I can't even imagine keeping up that pace for two more weeks.
  18. I had energy about 4 days out but I swear it had something to do with my blood transfusion. I am two weeks out and have more energy than I did before surgery for sure. I am sleeping better already and have to stop myself from doing stuff so I don't hurt myself. I keep forgetting about my weight lifting limit. My post op diet is more liberal than some I have seen. I think it has a lot to do with the nutrition you are able to get in and taking your Vitamins.
  19. sounds like maybe you have done too much physically. Its hard to take it easy when you don't feel bad. Been doing the same thing here.
  20. I can't believe a doc would throw out a specific number like that. you are well within normal. Everyone is different. keep up the good work!
  21. waterparks amusement parks have great fun with my kids white water rafting is a big one for me swim with dolphins not hide from cameras see if I can still do a cartwheel I am excited to buy my first regular sized article of clothing.
  22. oh delicious ideas!
  23. I have terrible bruising but not pain associated with it. I think it is hard because everyone has a different pain tolerance. 4 days out is totally within normal range to be uncomfortable. Did you continue pain meds at home? Prilosec or the like? gas/acid felt exactly like hunger pains to me. To the point I couldn't believe it was that. I could burp it away momentarily though. Prilosec saved my life. I was going insane.
  24. love to hear the good side. I am a fellow nervous obsessive. After finding out I am very sensitive to blood thinners, things went much better. I have been doing great post op with consumption of my diet plan. Fortunately my doc isn't crazy about the full liquids for such a ridiculous length of time post op. I was able to start egg, deli meat, string cheese on day 7. Hope you continue to feel well and have great success with your sleeve.
