Hi all ! I'm being sleeved August 8th, 2012 by Dr Morris Washington in Myrtle Beach SC. Is there any other august sleevers on here?

I'm 27 (almost) ---about 100-130 to lose.

Surgery set for aug 28th with Dr. Kim in Colleyville.

I would love to be added to the August Fb page. How does one do that? My surgery date is 8/13. I have a band that is getting removed and am converting to the sleeve all in the same surgery. I have about 130lb to lose and I am 33 yrs old!!

My surgery date is Aug 27th...I really nervous, I'm not sure why - nothing I can say specifically...however I'm also really excited about being healthier and looking better...Any Ohio folks out there?

I am on the 27th as well =) Where are you getting your's done? I am going to Mexico rachacha (that's my maraca's lol) Seriously though, if you are nervous feel free to vent this group is fantastic about helping each other out =) Hope you are having a groovy day =)

I had a luxurious morning, I slept in....it was beautiful, now the kids and I are going to have a lake day. I have to be a grown up tomorrow...but for today I can live in a summer dream.

Im 8/23 i work for the Dr's office nervous as hell. Starting my preop liquids today got a headache as I type don't know what im going to do

I've got 32 days to go and i think i'm becoming obsessed. I have made the decision to no tell anyone, only hubby, kids know. Last night i had a dream that a cousin of mine, that i rarely speak to, called me and needed to talk to me. She came to my house to tell me she was have the sleeve done. Mind you, she is at most 10lbs over and probably wears a size 8, never been overweight and was back in her jeans in a month after having kids. She told me she didn't want me to be jealous, so she was telling me herself. She said the Dr agreed to do it so she didn't get fat.

AArrr!!! woke up in a funk!! I know I'm doing the right thing, but i hope this kind of thing doesn't continue. Could make for a long month.

i believe we all go through these different dreams and worry, it seems to be normal....its a big change in our lives.

I have choose to only tell a handful of people mostly my husband, kids and there spouses...I dont want or need any of the negative or judgmental talk about this...I am working at trying to stay very positive and work hard at this....its a roller coaster of feelings but there is a great supportive group here thats all going through it also

We are trying to make sure all that wants added to the FB gets add, it is a little process where its secret but add me or futerskinnypants send a message and we will work on it if we have missed someone that wants on it

Hey everyone...new and old...lol.....I am getting ready to pack today...tomorrow is my last day working before surgery....my nerves seem calm so that is good...I was more nervous weeks ago....hard to believe I have been doing a liquid diet for almost 4 weeks....someone asked about sodium.....we should try to keep it under 700 a day I am told by my nutritionist dr....be careful of your protein shakes too..I had no idea that mine were so bad....300 grams a shake...so I started swelling....my hands and feet and found out I was retaining water....I drink between 2 and 4 litres a day and even that was not doing the trick because of the amount of sodium...

I am not sure about anyone else either but half way through this liquid diet I got heart burn so bad for days I could not even drink water without it hurting...SO my Dr prescribed some heartburn meds and I am all good again...The liquid diet really does mess you up but and I could kick myself for not measuring first, my husband and I have really noticed the weight I am losing in in my belly butt area for sure....So there must be something to the Dr.s trying to kill us...lmao....have a great Monday everyone...hugs and love..
