  10. Actually the stomach is healed between 14 and 21 days after surgery.....it does not make for thebest food choices but she isn't playing Russian roulette....the point for me of having this surgery is that if I feel the need to screw myself up I can only do it with a small amount of food......our stomachs were in surgery not our brains and this is supposed to be a place of support.....I understand you didn't mean it that way..or at least I think...but if I just messed up it would really make me mad if someone spoke to me this way..... It is true we need to do good.....and we need to eat protein first then produce....we r in this together.....I am gonna screw up, so are you and you and you.....as far as the burger and fries goes.....not our best choice but not the worst either.....good luck with your food choices....

  15. you are in SYLVAN LAKE?? I could come kick your butt in person...*grin*
  16. You have to stop beating yourself up over the past because it will become your excuse to continue it in the future....Everyone gets depressed...Everyone struggles and if they are your friends they understand..You are a grown up...You do not live for your family anymore unless that family are your husband and children...You need to look in the mirror and tell yourself to put your big girl panties on and forgive yourself for being human with flaws. You are not ugly you are overweight there is a difference...You are not stupid or unable to cope you are depressed...Stop beating yourself up in hopes it might make you feel better because it won't...What you need is a good kick in the butt..and I say that with love and unconditional support. now pick your ass back up, get back on the pre op diet and get ready for surgery because while you are losing weight you have time to PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS! Look over at your husband and say thank you for loving me when i don't...and move forward darlin because if you are not meant to be the fat girl this is YOUR CHANCE TO FIX IT!!! There is no judgement or ridicule in this message...I am sending you hugs and love...Now smarten up!
  17. we have it where it is no more than 4 oz every 15 minutes so I put 4 oz in a glass and repeat every 15 minutes.....i am not sipping but not gulping
  18. but like storm and allnewme...I did not have a drain or cath and when I woke up I started walking the halls....I am not sure if our Dr just has a different approach but this was the EASIEST surgery I have EVER HAD!
  19. Storm Dr A said when we are ready...frankly my husband wishes I had your drive hahahahahahaha....I don't think you said or did anything to offend anyone....Other than make me alittle jealous...lol..joking hon...I am glad you are doing so good!!! hugs... My answer was 1 week, but if my husband would have had his way it would have been as I was getting off the plane....and he actually messaged Dr A himself and was given the all clear before I even got home....
  20.
