  12. Me neither as far as losing as much as I thought I would be @ this point, but I blame a lot of it on myself. I'm not getting in the protein I need. It makes me gag. But some loss is better than no loss. My hair is also thinning.
  13. Protein shakes. I gag when I drink them. (So dramatic, my sleeve!). That's a huge issue for me being 2 months out.
  14. You can def tell! Stay encouraged!!!

  18. This is my all time fav photos. Soo inspirational!!
  19. I was also sleeved on the 11th. I am back to work which makes everything really challenging due to my work environment. I tried walking at work instead of driving my scooter (golf cart) and let me tell you I almost passed out. (From the heat) I have to find a better way to get my walking & water in. Doing TERRIBLE on the protein. Everything makes me gag. I had to hide my scale bc I was obsessively checking it ALL the time. Lol I am feeling better & more hopeful everyday. I keep telling myself this is the LAST summer I will be fat!!
  20. My surgeons office has support groups & one of them is called "back on track" & it's a program designed to help us when we feel like we are gaining.. Maybe try calling your Dr's office or speak to your nut. You are realizing that you are backtracking & that's a good start. Make your changes & just know that you CAN do it!!
  21. How's everyone doing in their protein? I'm really failing in this area. I have a few different kinds, but they ALL make me gag & heave. I'm super worried about this.. Still on the liquid diet for 2 more weeks. Any suggestion?

  28. Hi. I had Graves Disease & now I'm hypo, so I shared your concern. You will def lose weight. I'm about a month out & so far have lost about 24 lbs. I think that's pretty good! My hypo dose of med is 225 mg and I have to crush my pills before I take them & that's not as bad as I thought it would be. Talk to your dr about your concerns. It really might make you feel better. Anyway, good luck & see you on the "losers bench"!
