  3. I think it's up to what you can tolorate.
  4. Personally, I like GNC. You can sample their drinks. I also bought their powder recently to make smoothes with.
  5. I went to work, drove and ran stairs within 6 days out.

  7. Do you ever fill your bowl up or plate with something to eat and even go so far as to start eating and realize you had this surgery? And wonder 'how did I think I was going to eat all of this??'
  8. It will get better. I thought I was going to die during day 2. My plan was to spend one night at the hospital but was glad I went home on day 3. I suffered from gas, constipation, and I had a cough from a cold I was getting over and the cough got worse and it was a deep cough. I irritated some muscle around my large incision. Through it all....there were no regrets.
  9. What are all the effects of this lack of Grehlin? I think I missed something here.
  10. My stall ended also. Lost 3 pounds also.
  11. I am in the 2nd week of a stall now. I have a friend who had the surgery and she told me it was going to happen and don't get discouraged. She said after she lost about 30 pounds she felt like she was stalling forever but when she came out of it she lost about 20 pounds without issue.
  12. I told my husband, and my 2 best friends. I have not told any other family members. Oh, I also told a medical doctor I go to for minor illnesses. He was the worst! Oh, you might as well lose it on your own since you have a pre-op diet anyway, you can gain it back, I don't think you have that much to lose....etc.

  14. I know. I'm pissed because I can't eat this portabello mushroom stuffed with crabmeat. Can only eat about 1/4th. BUT...... I'm pleased with my results. Guess it's a good thing...in a way

  19. I hope I can lose 66# in 5 months!
  20. Walgreens offer free blood pressure checks thru the end of Feb. I ran out of bp meds and went to Walgreens to see if I should get a rx refill. I'm 6 weeks out, take 2 meds and yes I need a refill. I'm about 30# down. Maybe soon I can get off the meds.
