  1. OMG me too - sleeved on 8/13 - rumble rumble - weirdest feeling and sometimes painful....almost like the nausea hungry feeling but not sure. ICK - lets all keep our eyes on our hot new bod prize!
  2. OMG don't give up and don't be sad. 40lbs is awesome no matter how long it takes to get there. I know that sometimes I feel like 5lbs doesn't make a dent.....but it does.....so you lose 40lbs now and 40 lbs later? It will come off. Chin up!
  3. I am really rotating between crystal light, water, broth and tea - I prob did 40 ozs today - it's so hard - best bet is a sip every 10 minutes
  4. I want to be added to FB group please - you already accepted my FB friend request. Thanks ! Amy
  5. Ok just found out that hair loss is a side effect post op.......not happy - hope mine doesn't fall out
  6. Would it be really bad if I had a grilled chicken and salad right now? - My surgery is 18 days away and I am on day 6 of all liquid. Seriously? Is this considered a cheat?
  7. UGH Pre-op liquid diet SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just needed to get that off of my chest.

  9. YES ME!!!!! That is exactly how I feel today - how do you get through these feelings?
  10. I am starting to freak out - I am having serious second thoughts - I think its normal? I hope so.
  11. So today was the first day that I had second thoughts. I started to think that ....what if it doesn't work for me? What if I always feel as sick as I felt when I had the lapband? What if I have complications? How common is nausea? Or vomiting? Or complications? UGH - I wish I had a crystal ball. I don't know if I can do this. Maybe it's the 5 days of liquid diet getting to me. Thanks for listening.
  12. I am getting sleeved the 14th! I am on Long Island.
  13. I am day 2 of the liquid diet.....I can do this.....I am just focusing on the light at the end of the tunnel. I can't believe that I am three weeks away .....so exciting ! Anyone from NY?
  14. I am also starting my diet three weeks before surgery - hoping to kick start weight loss
  15. WOW - I hope for your success - congrats
  16. I am so nervous but excited at the same time. I was a thin teenager and even until I was 30.....but then by my 4th child...the weight kept packing on. I can't even believe what I weigh!!!!!!! I had a lap band....which worked in the beginning - until it didn't work and I would just vomit after every meal. I had the band removed last year...did WW, Nutrisystem...blah blah blah....gained the 50lbs that I lost with the band back and feel more obese than ever. I am such a bad eater! I can go all day without eating (which I know is bad for me) and then I eat at 8 or 9 o'clock......DUMB! So first of all........I KNOW that I need to break this disgusting habit of mine and what happens if I can't? Thank you for providing this forum. I would be grateful to speak to anyone. THANKS
