August Sleevers?! Where Ya's At?

Hi all ! I'm being sleeved August 8th, 2012 by Dr Morris Washington in Myrtle Beach SC. Is there any other august sleevers on here?

I'm 27 (almost) ---about 100-130 to lose.

My surgery date was Aug. 6th, 2012. To date, I am down 57 lbs. I seem to be slowing down quite a bit in the last couple weeks. I'm hoping its just another stall. I've only had one long stall (2-3 weeks long) and they are frustrating! Just wanted to check in and see where everyone else's stats are at right now? I know everyone is different, I'm just curious and need the reassurance.

Everyone has done great!!!! Here's mine:

Highest weight: 249

Surgery date: 8/21

Weight today 203

I'm losing slowly, but I am very happy with my post sleeve progress. I could probably kick ass more, but this is a permanent lifestyle change for me, and I need the habits I am developing today to still be here in my future. This isn't a 'fast fix' for me.

Went for my 12 week post op appointment today down 83lbs!!!

Starting weight 318

Date August 23rd

Today's weight 235

One of the best decisions I've ever made!!!!!

Congrats to everyone on their success!!!!!

Today is my 3 month anniversary. Here's my stats:

Highest weight 305

Starting weight 294

Day of surgery 267

Today 227

So I'm 78 pounds from my highest weight and 40 since surgery. Not the fastest, but I don't remember the last time I've lost 40 pounds in three months. So far I haven't noticed any hair loss, which is good since it's pretty thin already.

Everyone seems to be doing great. Keep it up!

6/12 highest weight 261

8/27/12, DOS 253

Current weight 214

Loss after surgery 40

Total loss 47

6/14 Surgery Weight 332

11/25 260.6

My only question is if I'm going too fast with the weight loss. It's a little surprising. Doc seems fine with it....

It's pretty great though, gone through a few sets of pants already. Gotten rid of a lot of clothes, even had to remove a link from my watch band. MY wedding ring is feeling loose, so I need to find one of those spacer things until I stabilize. If anyone has any tips on that, I'd appreciate it.

(I'm a guy, 6' tall, in case you're wondering)

Today is my 3 month surgerversary.

HW 243. (-64.4lbs)

SW 213 (8/29) (-34.4lbs)

Today's wgt. 178.6..

GW is 130-135 (43.6 to go)

Today I have my 3 month visit with my NUT, let's see if she has any changes for my diet.

I'm three months one week from surgery one and what...two months from surgery two (I never know which one to count LOL)

I was 185 at surgery (it's a little wishy washy because my at home weight was lower as is my new docs scale) so anyhoo, I'm now 145.4. I did gain 40lbs in the hospital LOL so I'm down either 40.4 or 80.4...depending on which you want to use heh heh

Here is my report from yesterday's visit.

1st visit 8/1 to 11/29. Lost 42lbs

BMI 42.1 TO 34.2

BODY FAT 114LBS TO 73LBS

MUSCLE MASS 109 TO 108 just a LITTLE MUSCLE lost, need to keep protein at higher end.

New goals:

Protein. 75-95

Carbs. 30-60

Cals: 900-1100

She said my ideal wgt is 153-160. I think that is a little high. I guess when I get down to 150 I will see how I feel and look.

I was very pleased with my results.

Ya know...that might be a good idea LOL I was thinking I was looking pretty snazzy in my work out gear yesterday. I'll get one today if I have a good hair day :)

Dang who needs a good hair day when you have a fantastic looking body. Just saying

I started my 3 week liquid diet on 8/7 at 373. Had surgery on 8/28 and I just weighed in at 282. So 90 lbs down with another 80 or so til my goal of 200. I feel so light on my feet its awesome! Not quite floating like a butterfly, but I'm getting there. The cool thing is that I haven't really been avoiding any foods at all. As long as I get my protein in and work out at least 4 times a week, I seem to lose weight eating small amounts of just about anything including chips, bread, sweets, and an occasional drink or two. Haven't been able to rid of my ferocious sweet tooth quite yet. I've been making little sandwiches on rolls (thanks thanksgiving) and that really makes me feel normal as I've missed normal lunch food. On my way to 100 down by the end of the year which is more than I could have ever hoped for. Best decision ever!

Today was my 3 month post-op check.

Pre-op weight 8/14- 282

Day of surgery 8/28- 271

3 mos post-op 11/30- 221

61 pounds lost!!!! Only 64 pounds to go for my goal of 145 pounds. Let's do this!!!
