  15. Hi I am 11 months out and I wasn't given a binder but about week 2 or 3 I started wearing compression garments and still do till this day. Makes clothes fit better and hides some of the loose skin around the abdomen. I buy them at Ross, Marshall's or T.J Maxx..
  16. U can add different flavors . Mint extract and chocolate taste like girl scout cookie, chocolate and Peanut Butter taste like Reese PB cup. Try adding SF pudding mix. U can buy SF Torani syrup on line or Walmart but limited

  18. I am 11 months post op and I still drink shakes. I like banana creme and add too milk, almond milk , oatmeal, yogurt, cereal. I started with a little bit at a time and I am up to a 1/2 a scoop. I do have chocolate, strawberry, double stuff cookie. I also drink isopure RTD I do mix with crystal light to make it taste better I add powder peanut butter, torani syrup, extracts like , orange, mint, or sf pudding pudding mix. Someone once mentioned they use the flavor packets for the frosting. I keep forgetting to buy so I can try them out. Not all protein powders taste bad..
  19. It does get better, remember you had major surgery, your body was and is going thru lots of changes. U r probably not getting all your vitamins and not eating very much. I had lots of trouble drinking water for the first 9 months but I never stopped trying to drink fluids. I am now able to drink 6-8 cups of plain water or mixed with some kind of powder mix. Start by walking and little by little you will get stronger. I used an app on my phone C25K to start walking jogging and then running. Don't be so hard on yourself and your body is needing the rest..
