Went for my 12 week post op appointment today down 83lbs!!! Starting weight 318 Date August 23rd Today's weight 235 One of the best decisions I've ever made!!!!! Congrats to everyone on their success!!!!!

Dr. Bauman did my surgery on Aug 23rd. GREAT surgeon no complications that all. 9 weeks & 2 days post op and down 69lbs!!

Just a little update. Was sleeved August 24th. Started out at 318 now down to 260. I'm 7 weeks post op and down 58 pounds!!! About half way to my goal weight of 200lbs. Thanks for all the support on here!!!

Went for my 4 week post-op yesterday. Everything is healed good and I'm down 45 lbs total!!! Best decision I've ever made!!!!!

Was sleeved on Thursday aug 23rd. Discharged on the 25th. As of this morning down 22lbs 312 to 290. 28 lbs total!! Getting easier everyday but this is not the easy way out as some people may think! Best wishes to all!!

I'm scheduled to be sleeved on Thursday August 23rd @ 0730!!! With that tomorrow I will have nothing but liquids all day and start with the pre op meds tomorrow and early Thursday morning. This process has flew by. It's taken me less than 2 months from my initial consult with my PCP to surgery date, which is good, but way quicker than I had planned out in my head. I know I'm doing the right thing for me and my family. Me and my wife are expecting in late January and with me losing the weight I'll be able to keep up with him/her as they grow up, along with alleviating my constant knee pain I have due to 2 torn cartilage surgeries in my left knee. I'm soooo glad I found this site for the information and tons of support everyone here offers. Will check back Thursday or Friday after surgery!!!!

The protein n water are so harder to get in than I aticipated. Only 7oz of water and 2 oz of protein so far

I was sleeved yesterday and started on the water and protein this morning. They wanted 1oz of water and 1oz of protein every hour. It sounds soooooo much easier than to do it. I started water at 6am an protein at 1030 and so far I've only gotten 7oz of water and 2oz of protein. And with just that I feel like I just finished a steak dinner it absolutely crazy!!!

Everything went well!! I was sleeved yesterday @ 0730. Just started my 2oz of water every 1hour. If all goes well ill start with protein at 10:00

I'm getting sleeved Thursday. But my nutritionist goes by the 60/60/60 rule: 60 grams of Protein per day minimum 60 oz of Water per day 60 min of walking With the carbs and sugar: Carbs 4 grams per serving maximum Sugar 4 grams per serving maximum Get good quality Protein Shakes like Isopure, Optimum Nutrition, Dymatize, ect. Hope this helps!!

Yeah I'm a lil nervous too, but everyone I've talked to about wls is the best decision they're ever made!

Went for my pre-op appointments with Dr. Bauman and with CMC-NE yesterday and everythings still on go for next Thursdy the 23rd!!! T-8 days!! Good luck to everyone getting sleeved today!!

Pre op visit with surgeon today at 0845 and visit with annestheologist (sp?) at 300!! T minus 9 days!!!

Pre-op visits with my surgeon and the hospital on Aug 14th and surgery scheduled for August 23rd @ 0730!! Only 3 weeks away and I can't wait to get my sleeve!!! Thanks everyone just wanted to give an update!

Good deal!!! I had to met with my nutritionist just 1 time so far.

Today I'm having my 1st visit with my Nut. Excited to get this process started!!!!! So far I have everything scheduled just a waiting game for the dates to roll around!!!

Had my psych eval yesterday which was fun fun fun!! Today met with my surgeon for my initial consult, which went extremely well. I have completed everything just waiting on some of the info to be faxed to my surgeons office. Very very excited. Hoping for a date of early to mid September maybe late August if everything goes without a hitch.

The appointment went good. A lot of info about the pre op diet to lose some weight. They don't put you on liquids for 2 weeks just a healthy diet before surgery. Very motivational visit. Hoping for surgery late July or early August.
