Today I'm having my 1st visit with my Nut. Excited to get this process started!!!!! So far I have everything scheduled just a waiting game for the dates to roll around!!!

Wonderful! You will find the Nutritionist visits are extremely helpful. There is so much information to know, and of course knowledge is POWER!

The appointment went good. A lot of info about the pre op diet to lose some weight. They don't put you on liquids for 2 weeks just a healthy diet before surgery. Very motivational visit. Hoping for surgery late July or early August.

Had my psych eval yesterday which was fun fun fun!! Today met with my surgeon for my initial consult, which went extremely well. I have completed everything just waiting on some of the info to be faxed to my surgeons office. Very very excited. Hoping for a date of early to mid September maybe late August if everything goes without a hitch.

Congrats! I'm pretty much at the same place, only my hospital requires I go through 3 classes with the nutritionist. Should be meeting my surgeon soon though.
