I mostly want to like salmon for the health benefits. I think I’m going to give that one a try again.

if you have an air fryer, it makes a world of difference in the taste. I will also do it really low and slow in the oven so it doesnt have that fishy-oily smell to it. Salmon cakes are really good too.

I saw that one too! My husband bought this one for me because I am kind of a Taylor Swiftie.

Love it! I was private about mine so I am not brave enough to throw it out there on a shirt. (Bypass)

Did you really look it up? I’m curious where it came from. I’ve never heard it before.

I am at work, so didn't have too much time, but after reading some stuff about the freezing temp of it and why your nose runs....🤢 I decided another time....

I am doing well, happily surprised at my ease of this surgery and the process so far! I seem to be loosing weight quick (my surgeon and nutritionist agree) but I am not trying to get accustomed to it because it will eventually slow down. I just have a lot to loose so it is moving quicker for now. I am for now, just enjoying the ride!

Looks at your progress of your weight loss.....71 pounds down since March is ALOT. Was there some weight loss post op? I worry I wont lose alot? I dont know why lol. I spoke with my Dr yesterday and she says most standard weight loss she sees post op in sleeve patients is about 30 lbs. She said she predicts I will soar past that as I have lost 14 lbs in 9 days....YAY......Congrats on your progress!! You are doing Awesome ;)

Like 30 pounds, period?? I think you may have misunderstood that number.

No, as a general guideline I suppose. She said most lose more than that but as a general guideline that amount seems to be the average lost in 4 weeks post op (Im guessing for lower BMI ppl probably but who knows). Of course each person is different.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
