I hit ten miles on my Apple Watch one day.

How long does it take you to run that much? I can barely do about 1 mile and I am weeks post-Op!

I have officially reached 2 months post-op.

63 lbs down so far.

I was getting lazy again on exercise, mostly because the weather hasn't been great.

I just bought myself a Peloton bike, so far having fun with it.

Congrats on your progress!

I am doing strength training. Wife has a peloton bike, but I can't stand the tiny seat.. :) I'll try again when I lose some more weight.

Can’t you change the seat? You can on regular bikes.

Ha! I ordered another seat right after my first ride.

The good thing is, it will accept any regular bike saddle, so I ordered a fat guy saddle.

Yes, you can change it, it has a standard mount.

LOL. The prob is the wife is skinny and uses it every day. And.. more importantly, I am just lazy.. :)

Yeah it would be a pain to change back and forth, would be nice if they made an adapter to change seats easily

I am now 10 weeks post op and I have lost 27lbs since the day of my surgery. I had just one long stall of about 2 weeks post op but have lost about 2lbs a week since then. I'm so so pleased with that. I have quite a way to go but I feel like I'm into the swing of things. I do have a little alcohol every weekend but it's one or two drinks and all counted in my calorie allowance, which is around 800 per day now and 1000 at weekends.

Good luck to everyone, hope it's going well for you all.

Had my surgery the day before thanksgiving and have been having a rough time because I never get hungry and can’t seem to reach my Water intake goal.

Don't get discouraged. I had my surgery on November 8th and I'm basically in the same situation. My saving grace is orange juice without the sugar. For some reason I'm able to drink more of that than the Water. In fact water taste so nasty to me now and it hurts even when I take a gulp. Also, pretty much anything I eat gives me the foamies (I learned what that was from this site :)

My Doctor just said to hang in there and don't worry about my food intake, but to try and least get some Protein in. So, I take really small bites of a protien bar at a time and beef sticks.

January turned out to be a good month for me and I lost 12.5 pounds. I hope everyone had a good month.

So 2 months since the surgery and 9 weeks and in total have lost about 28 pounds. Last month was slow, about 10 pounds.

Seems like weight will take its sweet time coming off. Slow loser here from what I can see. Though as long as it continues coming off and I can reach the goal, all well.

Hoping everyone else is doing well on their ends given we are in Feb now.

All going well here thank you!

Today I am OUT of Onederland and I just wanted to let you all know. scale showed 99kg for the first time in a very long time. It feels really good. 🏆

I have lost 31lbs in 11.5 weeks since my op. Pretty much 2lbs a week since my long stall ended.

I only have one issue and it's been the same since day 1 - getting enough fluids in. I rehydrate really well in the morning, but as soon as I start to eat I get pretty hungry and then an hour later want to eat again. If I eat when I feel hungry then I have virtually no time for drinking in between - I have to think about Fluid intake every single day. Small price to pay and I'm sure it'll come with time. I am so happy to have had this surgery.

I lost 11lbs in January. Hopefully we can keep up this rate for a few months, wouldn't that be amazing?!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
