This is my first time here and I am excited to announce that my wife and I are both having the VSG on November 8th!

We are having it in Columbia, Mo with Dr. Nicole Spencer. We are both beyond excited for our new outlook on life!

I’m November 9th. The thought of the surgery scares me.

My surgery date is November 10th! Super excited! I’ve been wanting this surgery for at least 10 years!?

Hurrah finally a group that I can fit in. I was the 10th but got bumped back to 24th. That did rock me a bit but I am over that now. As long as I dont get bumped again ....

My surgery is November 4 with Dr. Fok Russell through Medicalmex in Tijuana. I live in Missouri and wish I could've had it here but my insurance didn't cover.

I totally understand that! I am still on my mothers insurance and they covered it but my wifes insurance didn't so we are haivng to pay out of pocket for hers. Best of Luck to you on your weight loss journey!

November 5th in Louisville, Kentucky. I’ve been waiting for a while to get approved. Then, once I was approved, Iwas told that hospitals weren’t scheduling surgeries because they needed COVID beds. So I got it in my head that the surgery wouldn’t be until next year. Then they called. And now it’s in a few weeks! Ack! I’m excited and nervous.

me too...started pre-op diet today...still freaking out on the inside

I am scheduled for Nov. 3. While it has been a frustrating process at times with quite a few hic-cups but all in all very happy with the time to think through this very drastic life change for someone in their 60's. Now that I'm in the 2 wk liver diet it feels so real. Fingers crossed for great success to all posting.

I'm scheduled for November 1st. I'm excited and very nervous at the same time. I started my 2 week liquid diet on the 18th and I'm sticking to it without too much struggle - so far. This is my first time on the forum and it's been really encouraging. Thanks

It varies if you read enough of these posts. One lady had 12hours fasting. Lots have1 or 2 weeks. Mine is 3 weeks of 3 pints of milk, two veg meals and 2 pieces of fruit . I can also have coffee. One person, I read had 4 weeks of slim fast only. Every doctor has their own 'recipe' Please let me know how you get on
