Whaaaaaaaat? Me too? That's right [emoji28]
I decided to go ahead and (silently) have plastics done. This mommy had a makeover yesterday and is very happy with the results so far. Still very early in my recovery but I wanted to document as much as I could before I forgot.
Procedures: Mommy Makeover (breast lift w/o implants and extended Tummy Tuck with Lipo of sides)
Where: Miami baby! Southbeach body here I come [emoji12]
Why: the usual reasons... I've been thinking about it forever and finally took the plunge
When: Jan 03, 2020
Still early out and I'm pretty laid up so ill update when I can!

My observation was that you were very quiet on the threads and not posting, I was hoping that you weren't leaving BP.

Okay lady, because there's a whole group of people (me included) having surgery very soon who need your expertise. You are one of my faves on here... You & Fluffy are knowledgeable and valuable. 💜

P.S. I know the summer outfits are going to be CUTE....😘

Yay congrats in upcoming transformations.

I'm currently learning too by reading the experiences of the true plastics VETS and newbies that came before me. Their stories have been invaluable and provided me with the courage to actually go through with it. So thanks EVERY ONE who shares to these forums... I appreciate it immensely

(BTW I am no expert i just happen to have the most things come up... So weird 😳)

P.S I didn't even consider that i would need new clothes until you mentioned it 😔 Oh Gosh...

Congratulations! I’m happy for you and plan on joining the club in about a year.

I cannot wait to see all the new outfits! I just read that TT can mean 2-3 size change after swelling subsides.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
