RE: itching and soreness

Benadryl is your friend (especially at night).

Ice packs too.

Yes! The Tylenol pm has Benadryl in it 😍

You look amazing! What size boobs did you end up with? I ask because I will probably get a lift when I do TT. But of course this will probably be next year for that.

I couldn’t see the faja image for some reason..

I already started using silicone scar tape and will care for it diligently.

First off, you look amazing! Just a comment to say that I love having the silicone tape on my arms. I feel like the incisions are well protected. And I barely even feel that the tape is even on. Just replaced the first set (?) tonight, after wearing for a week. It was still working fine but I just felt like it was time to change it. Just cuz.

2 weeks+ update:

Still very swollen from the TT, but I'm being super patient because I'm super satisfied with the breast lift outcome.

From everything I'm reading and looking at on the internet, after 3-4 months your true results will show because most of the swelling should subside.

My faja is far too tight most days to put on so I'm mostly using other compression garments and the binder. I wore the faja out the other day and its fine for standing etc but nothing else. I want it off ASAP. But I think its because my swelling levels fluctuate.

Weight is also fluctuating up and down depending on swelling, yesterday I was 155lbs and today 151lbs

I've been off all pain meds for quite a while but last night I was so sore and itchy that I needed a Tylenol PM. I believe the itching is the regeneration of... fascia? nerves? whatever. Its hella annoying 😞

I have an area where I prematurely broke my stitches on the side and I can tell I'm going to need to work hard to have that scar disappear but I already started using silicone scar tape and will care for it diligently. Anyone have tips send them my way!

I now have strong sensation on both nipples, hooray! I'm thoroughly enjoying the shape and size of the new breast ❤

Blurry pics attached 😂

I bought a roll of a medipride single use type to test my skin's reaction. So far so good.

But Next I plan getting a reusable (strips) type

Thank you [emoji172],
What type are you using?
CircaTape. It's what my Dr recommended, and I think someone else here on BP did too but I can't remember who that was.
CicaTape Soft Silicone Tape (1.57in x 59in) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076FHBDDD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_M1LjEbAX7P47K

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
