Stop it! Anytime you post amazing stuff like this, if you do not follow immediately with your "Where's Waldo/What Changed" pic of your afters, we're gonna have to severly fine you 15 yard for penalties in the backfield. :D

That looks seriously...SERIOUSLY ahhhhh-mayyyy-zing!!!! Hell, I'd get up for that "breakfast!"

Wait! Maybe that IS a pic of your afters? bahahahahaha!!!

Well ... it's hard to show what I ate as it was a slow progression

First I started out with this

IMG_0778.thumb.jpg.9903026e1adcb25503dc16c4397a2b6f.jpg

Then my meal came. (notice the bottle of beer has disappeared and like 30 chips are missing)

636745855_IMG_0779-Copy.thumb.jpg.57a198ed5c0df7aef0743196f6c771db.jpg

And then this is the after, sorta. There is a half of a tortilla missing from the tortilla warmer, and I finished my michelada after I took the pic!

And bein' from TX, chips and salsa are a 5th food group and I will eat them preferentially over any meal we have! :) Great...now I want Mexican and my total fave: Michelada!!! :D

What kind of chicken dish is that? It looks amazing

It's in a chipotle sauce. It is amazing, but not at all low cal!

Gee, I'm doing this all wrong! We went to a Mexican restaurant after church yesterday and I had sauteed tilapia and mixed veggies with Water to drink. I need to go be a third wheel with Kitty and Co!

Oh, yeah, and 1/2 a chip 😳

And you would have just been the 2nd wheel, I was by myself. That's why there was pics. I can't let the not a boyfriend know about my level of crazy. :P

Maybe wiser, but a lot less fun. I haven't had anything to drink since I was in Tampa. That seems like ages ago! Miss my baby girl!

Yeah, certain personality traits should be kept in the closet until the relationship is rock-solid! 😁

And not very well since one of my incisions is still open. Maybe some tequila would sterilize/cauterize it? Nurse told me today I can try pouring peroxide into it to dry it out

Have you tried Domoboro Solution? You buy these packets in the drug store. They are like a vinegar powder that you make into a slurry. Then you soak a gauze pad with it and lay it on the wound. And it helps it heal. I had to do that for my radiation burn and it really worked! It was crazy how well it dried it up!

Nope, just the peroxide. However, there's something oddly satisfying about pouring it on and seeing all the bubbles! Some days I'm really easy to amuse!

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
