Food Before and After Photos

  • Popular Post

Like weight loss before and after photos but of your new diet !

I'm especially interested in before and after meal photos (take a pic at the point you feel restriction) but it can be of recipe substitutions, your refrigerator/pantry/shopping cart/etc

You folks here give me hope. I'm 5 days postop VSG and want to eat real food. Seeing your photos let's me know that while I can't have it now, I will be able to have it later. It all looks soooo goooood!

How do you make them?

Used four eggs and separated the whites from the yolks. Added the yolks to the tuna and seasoned with salt, lemon pepper, parsley, a little garlic powder, and added chopped onions. I then beat the egg whites until they were fluffy and folded them in the tuna mixture. To cook them I just spooned the mixture on a pan with some olive oil spray.

Note: you really don’t have to separate the whites from the yolk but I do this because it makes for a more light airy patty vs a dense one.

Dinner last night was a tuna melt on zero carb bread inspired by all the beautiful sandwiches @GreenTealael makes. My bf ate the other half for me.

I like this recipe! Are you using fresh tuna or this is canned?

I used 110 g cashews (the recipe calls for 150 g but I only had 110 g available) but the idea that it might work out fine anyway without having to adapt the rest of the recipe was a good one since I like it heavy on the nooch.

110 g cashews

4 tbs nutritional yeast (different brands have a different taste so you might have to find your favorite first)

0.5 tsp onion powder

0.5 tsp garlic powder

0.5 tsp salt

Throw everything together and swirl through a blender for a few seconds.

---

There are different recipes out there. Some only call for garlic powder and salt, some for both garlic and onion powder.
