Food Before and After Photos

Like weight loss before and after photos but of your new diet !

I'm especially interested in before and after meal photos (take a pic at the point you feel restriction) but it can be of recipe substitutions, your refrigerator/pantry/shopping cart/etc

I love chicken pad Thai so much, but I haven't had it in months. I used to eat a full order in a sitting at least once a week. Last night i asked if they could replace the rice noodles with bean sprou

So it was running cycling against the wind all the way to the bike shop with the occasional strong side wind that pressed me to the other side of the cycling lane. Luckily I started early enough to make my appointment at the bike shop.

However, as sh*itty as that ride was (I almost needed 1.5 the time the navigation app calculated even though I rode with a rather high heart rate), the ride back was awesome since the wind calmed down and it was still sunny.

Have some eye candy and meet the E-Sledge in galaxy black and French Fries from a local pub:

ETA: portion sizes are insane in the boonies, lol. Plenty of leftovers to test the oven mode of our new microwave tomorrow.

Made the @Sophie7713 wedge salad tonite !(took the picture before I realized I forgot to sprinkle blue cheese chunks on top (so the salad in my tummy had about a glorious 1 oz of the stuff added later, lol)

Also made some “leftover chinese takeout”-fried rice for the fam (none for me!) Day old white rice + leftover crispy chicken + leftover beef & Chinese broccoli + frozen corn niblets + scrambled eggs + crispy fried garlic.

Did the weekly inventory of the stuff in the fridge and determined I needed to use up some wonton wrappers, a couple stalks of green onions and what was left of a tub of cream cheese.

Sooo....made Spicy Cream Cheese & Green Onion Fried Wontons! Also made a dipping sauce with Tamari, sesame oil, sriracha & a touch of honey (its in that stainless steel bowl in the background)

These are terribly addictive, as evidenced that they where gone in like 10 minutes. But I did manage to eat one before they all disappeared.

1 wonton (without sauce): 66 cals

Oh, OKAY then... Let's just whip up some delicious crisp to perfection wontons on a whim! You never cease to amaze me. Haha. They look awesome. ms.sss chef and catering enterprise. When are cocktails for the next wonton batch?

Italian herb tuna with salad (then, salad with toppings) for lunch today shared by hubs and myself. I ate about ¼ of it since filled with dense ingredients. Now experimenting with a Banana Peanut Butter Chia pudding.

Thank you, Marvel Girl! Inspiration plus! We just love bananas and they are a household staple, as is Chia + walnuts. Hubby just whipped this up over his lunch break utilizing roughly his chia pear chocolate pudding prep BUT much less arduous with cooking and other complex steps. Probably cannot wait until tomorrow BUT as a treat tonight!!!... after doing business taxes at my desk all day long. Here was his quick concoction for your banana Walnut Chia Pudding:

One ripe banana, 2 tsp. cinnamon, ½ tsp. vanilla, 1cup of almond milk (he's lactose intolerant), 6 tbsp. Chia seeds and ¼ cup walnuts. Add all ingredients in bullet blender until smooth. Whisk in Chia seeds. Mix. Chill and WA LA! Can't wait. Thanks, again. Hugs!

Also, sooo excited to see ms.sss take on your glittery chocolate dipped strawberries! It is my birthday Friday after all. Haha. :]

Thank you for the birthday wishes. We decided to risk it and venture out for dinner tonight. A favorite local restaurant with outdoor seating with Bobby and our fashionable masks... I need a BREAK after 10 weeks! Even with take-out your still cleaning up dishes. So yay!!! no prep or dishes tonight.

By the way, it is 4 tablespoons (not 6) for above posted chia seeds and it did need just a little honey or maple syrup. Here is the banana peanut butter chia now setting. I'll let you know how it tastes. So easy in the bullet.

Tacos with roasted onions and butternut squash, smoky black beans, cinnamon-cayenne spiced walnuts, fresh-cut salsa, red cabbage, cilantro, lime cashew cream, and handmade corn tortillas. One for me, and the rest of a huge batch for others.

Looks amazing!!!

Ah yes, the bread rolls and the bread from this little shop are just awesome. Hubby and I shared a so-called "soccer roll", basically a lye roll that looks like it has a soccer ball print on it.

Salad bars at supermarkets are still closed but one can find some decent pre-mixed salad bowls. Mix of endive, white cabbage, carrots, radicchio and red bell pepper according to the label, pimped it with mixed olives and red onion.
