You all look so good, it gives me hope for the future.
My highest weight was 320.
The day I had surgery I was 294.
2 weeks post op and 270.
That is 50 pounds, that is righteous in mine, and any other! Congratulations my friend!?
It’s great, can’t wait to lose more. I just don’t feel like I look like I’ve lost that much.

You both look amazing!!!

So what’s the word on bananas? I don’t see it anywhere on my food lists, but was wondering if a mashed banana would be ok on puréed

Anybody have pain that comes and goes in small incremental cycles on right side? I have my biggest incision under but its like a dull pain sometimes...

That was where the worst of my pain was. I also had a huge dent in my tummy. I’m 3 weeks out and I still get pain there.

Yes ! I have a dent too! My mom who had an abdominal surgery way different than gastric bypass says she also had pain there for a while.. something about the fact that they mess around in that area it stays sensitive

I was told no whole fruits for 3 months! Only cooked or canned fruits even if blended.
@Jbyerly101 I was told that when you get to puréed stage only bananas would be ok everything else would be rough on you

My program says the same about canned or cooked fruits but oddly enough banana is on my list of approved foods and is also on the example meal list (1/4 medium banana). Way to contradict your own program. I have used 1/4 banana twice in my protein shakes but I don't find it worth it. The sugars and carbs that it adds when I'm almost struggling to get my protein in because my belly is so full all day due to soft foods and the low amount of protein I get from them because of the small amount I can eat.
