@mercmerc , I feel your pain !! I dropped 25 pounds in the first 3 weeks and I’m going on 7 weeks and haven’t lost a thing !!! So frustrated !

Had my sleeve done 7/24! I’m one day short of 5 weeks ! Had a week and a half stall . At my biggest to left 232 a week before surgery and today at 204! 28 Pounds Down And I love it ! Can’t wait to lose more !

I was told by my doctor that sometimes the upset stomach is because people go too slow on the trying one new food a day thing ? I just think all of our doctors have a different way of wanting g us to take it /healing . I’m 4 weeks Tuesday & can eat chicken and other meats very well without a stomach upset

Im a part of the crappy crew that even when I got to the puréed stage I still even though I wanted them very very very much could t tolerate anyyyything on the puréed list ??

Okay so I’m 9 days out today ! And anything I put in my body causes severe cramping and abdominal pain !! Sometimes it’s almost instant other days when I think I got away when I lay down for bed I am suddenly awakened with a wrenching pain in my lower abdomen !! Sometimes I’ll hve a BM other times nothing just straight PAIN. ! has anyone gone through this ??!! Currently dying

Just had to share the good news after having a really rough first week ! Today marks a week from my surgery ! Weight date of surgery 232 , weight TODAY 210 !!!!!!!!!! I did not see that number coming when I stepped on the scale !!

Okay so today I start my official second week of phase two in eating even though my doctor recommended to start after 4-5 days I didn’t think I was ready . What exactly is everyone eating for puréed foods ??? I am so scared to upset my stomach !! Already have once and geez I felt like my insides where being twisted .

Ahh sorry to hear that ! I’m lucky that my sister is a nurse she was here to unhook me without bothering the nurse ! Although it did feel as though every time I layer down someone would come in . I was just told I’m getting discharged now !!

No pre op diet for me either he says it’s all of part of his high success rate which he’s got 5/5 stars on ALL reviews so I trusted him . I’m on day 2 of post op and feel great !

Update ! I’m finally taking sips of water ! I feel good!

Im feeling amazing ! I’m down to minimal pain with no pain meds ! Now I see why they really didn’t want me on them it really creates leniency on them

I paid 13,500$ for my gastric sleeve surgeon , hospital fees& stay & anesthesiologist. I self paid

Lucky you ! They won’t give me anything but ice chips !! I’m struggling to get pain meds now at this point which sucks can’t wait for the nurses to switch ! I will !

Ok so finally not drowsy and fully AWAKE ! Obviously with any surgery there will be pain having a. Little but no where near end of the world pain lol ! That says a lot from me ! I’m like 0 tolerance for pain lol . Procedure went super smooth ! I’m already up walking around because the built up gas they tell you about is no joke ! But if you live like they ask you to it just slides out and bam no pain !!! I just signed up today and I am soooo amazed at how cared for I feel by all of you !! Thank you so much ! I told no one of my surgery except for my Husband ! Even with the pain I’m feeling like this is the best choice I could’ve made for myself !!
