I do. The surgeon told me the upper right is the most painful. I get twinges and full aches there from time to time. Probably healing pains.

So it's normal?? I should not worry unless it gets really bad?

I can’t say for sure that it’s normal what you’re feeling - but I can tell you that four weeks out I still get the most pain in that spot. If you’re concerned I would call your surgeon.

Sounds normal. I would still mention it.

Question for those who are further along than I am...how long did you wait after surgery before going back to gym/starting to go to gym? I was between gyms and want to sign up for a new one but debating when to start the membership...
getting really bored of the purée diet and i have 2.5 weeks left of it... any suggestions on how to spice it up? i can start eating eggs on friday so i’m sure that’ll help but i’m getting so bored with yogurt, jello, applesauce etc. i love refried beans but after 3 bites i’m painfully full.

I’m sick of puréed too. Dying for some primE rib.

Have you tried the infamous ricotta bake? Are you allowed tuna? I was allowed tuna. Thankfully I only had to do that stage for a week
Gonna be a while , beef doesn't sit easy on a Bariatric Tummy. But,YMYC, your money, your choice.?

Chili was something that I didn’t mind the puréed texture of. I looked up tons of recipes that would be good for this stage. Baked fish is pretty much a staple in my puréed diet because different spices helped give it different flavors and if it’s flaky enough, it doesn’t have to be puréed.

Please give details about the ricotta bake! Sounds yummy

Say grace,

have you seen the blog The world according to egg face? Just search for purée recipes. I am on purée and just tried her ricotta bake. It was amazing. I figured that her recipe makes 6 servings, 105 calories, 9.1 protein grams, carbs 3.6 grams. Just an idea. You may have to leave the mozzarella off if not allowed

I’m on full liquids currently, can’t wait to get to puréed! I’m so excited to have some eggs. Full liquid is so boring...
Im a part of the crappy crew that even when I got to the puréed stage I still even though I wanted them very very very much could t tolerate anyyyything on the puréed list ??
