    African American Sleevers

Hey hey. So as far as my surgery I have not had a single complication. I was sleeved in Aug 2018 and have lost a total of 90lbs. I have had no real hair loss that isn’t typical. In fact my hair has been healthier. I take my vitamins everyday (mostly). My skin has snapped back but that can also be due to the fact that I am 26 with no children and where I held most of my weight (hips and ass). I have been fully committed to my journey even my doctors are proud of my success.

    Weight-loss funnies

I’ve been having a rough couple of days this thread has got me laughing.
  15. Thank you. A healthy baby is all I’m hoping for
  16. Hey there. First congratulations. Second I’m in a similar situation. 8 months post op and coming up on 6 weeks. I’m still in shock. Although I haven’t hit my goal weight, the weight loss has stabilized. Im planning on continuing to eat healthy and exercising to minimize my weight gain. Doctors recommended no more than 15lbs which is okay with me. Obviously this was not planned but is welcomed none the less. I pray you have a safe and stress free pregnancy.

    ❤ APRIL 2019 CHALLENGE❤

Vegan Keto=meal prep being an extreme sport. After having surgery I became one of the pickiest eats. I mean food going bad because I was still trying to eat all the food I use to like and it was making me sick. So I stopped eating pork beef turkey and chicken. Didn’t really phase me. I was eating fish from time to time but most times I wasn’t. Again food going bad. Because on Monday fish sounded like a good idea but by Tuesday night I didn’t even want to look at it. So naturally I was just like fine just go vegetarian. But most vegetarian dishes that are easy to make are full of carbs. I started looking in to keto fast forward I’m here. What do I eat? Avocados made in a million ways Chia puddings A plethora of vegetables. Jack fruit Flaxseeds Nuts Berries Sunwarrior protein powder I make everything.

    ❤ APRIL 2019 CHALLENGE❤

I have So many goals for this month. April SW: 211.6 April Scale Goal: 12lbs to but me at 199. (Down 5lbs so far) April Non-Scale Goals: 1) Maintain a strict Vegan Keto diet ( so far so good it’s how I lost 5lbs in a week) 2) Track macros consistently 3) Weigh in once a week (addicted to the scale) 4) Take vitamins consistently (so far so good) Surgery: 8/2/18
  20. Ppl keep telling me I need to stop losing weight I’m getting too small. I’m still in the 200s (just 7lbs to 199) so clearly they have no idea what they are talking about. I simply tell them to mind the business that pays them. And since I’m not paying them they should stop minding my business. All with a smile.

    April 2019 Surgeries!

My start weight was 290. My goal is 150. Loafty? Yes. Attainable? Absolutely. I’m 8 months out and 11lbs from 199. You can do.
  22. I’ll officially be 8 months out tomorrow and I feel great. From the day of my surgery to today I’ve had no complications. I didn’t use my pain meds. I still have the unopened bottle. I’ve exceeded the goals I original set for myself and the goals my doctor set for me. I’ve had no hair lose, actually my hair is the healthiest it has been in a long time. And my skin is snapping back wonderfully. (Thank God) Of course I’ve had plateaus in my weight but I’ve learned what these plateaus are telling me about my body and what I need to work on. My weight has been decreasing consistently. I’ve officially lost 80lbs. 11 more will take me into ONEderland.
