  1. I’m still in my liquid phase and my doctor okayed me to blend them in my shakes
  2. @afakasiwife I had my surgery on the 2nd left on the 4ththey gave me the Tylenol codeine as well and it came up faster than it went down. After asking my doctor I’ve been putting fruit and peanut butter in my shakes. I’m feeling pretty good. I have a bit of soreness but that’s expected and I’m always tired which is also expected. So far I’m down 5lbs. And my first preop appointment is on the 8th HW:290 SW:268 CW:263
  3. Girl I was doing it everyday. Multiple times a day. Now he’s all we can wait until you heal trying to be supportive and I’m just like... I mean I guess
  4. Yeah I got tired looking at jello. I was like oh yeah today I’m doing to do my shake then take a walk. I end up falling asleep.
  5. Thanks for the ideas. There is no way I’m waiting 4 weeks. Honestly my soreness just feels like I did an intense an workout.
  6. I’m still confused if I’m hungry, have gas, or just sore. I’m three days out and I’m just following the meal plan my nutritionist gave me. So far so good.
  7. I currently sleeping on my couch. My bed is too soft right now for me to get comfortable. I’m a side/stomach sleeper so during the night I end up turning to the side but as long as I prop a pillow under me I’m good.

  10. I had mine on the second as well left on the 4Th for the same reason. I actually haven’t told anyone in my family. Only two of my really good friends know I had it. So if you need some support I’m here.
  11. I’m going to look into that. My pain isn’t too bad I’ve been handling it pretty well without any meds. I’ve been doing light stretches to move the gas.
  12. Gas is the only pain I’m feeling. I’m not even on any pain killers. I staying in the hospital for two days. I walked so much every nurse on the floor knew who I was. I’m currently sleeping on my couch my bed is too soft right now. I’m passing gas but no BM yet. First time in my life I’m excited about a BM. Hope your recovery goes extremely well
  13. It is the worse. I threw mine up. So I guess I’m doing this with no Pain killers.

  18. Just got to the hospital. I’m super nervous. Other than the excess weight I’m pretty healthy so I’m low risk for complications but still nervous.
  19. I have the same concern. I’ve been working out pretty frequently, but walking doesn’t seem too bad
  20. My friend had her surgery last August and she struggled in the beginning. She cried a lot. She had regrets. But as her stomach healed and she was able to actually chew food it got better. Our relationship with food will absolutely change but remember why you did this.
  21. Surgery tomorrow at 11am. Super nervous like a good nervous.
  22. Second to last day of my pre op diet and the fatigue has officially kicked in. ??
