June 12th!!! Omg you have it done already! How are you getting on?
I just had my sleeve June 4th. Doing better than anyone thought I might. However, I am struggling with getting enough protein and water in despite me sipping all the time.
I’m June 4th, too. No diarrhea, nausea has gotten better but still, no poop since Saturday. If I don’t poop by tomorrow, I have to start taking benefiber. It still hurts to breathe deeply and still hurt if I drink too fast. It’s a learning curve and I’m a learning!

I was 4 June too, had a poop today hope you do too.

I’m sipping on protein water and have managed to get down 250ml since breakfast, I hope this continues. I have 3 bottles that I try to get through each day, all 700ml, so far so good. I have always drunk a lot of water, so this bit is a habit for me.

Im finding I want food, but I’m not actually hungry. So I think about how good it’s going to feel walking up stairs in a month, and have more water lols

I’m also June 26.18. Guelph Ontario Canada

Glad u good. I'm less than 12 hours I will have the surgery. I'm scared not excited

Hope all is well :)

Thanks lala!

I'm in juarez, mexico

Surgery went well so far. Moving eases my pain, sitting still increases it. I'm staying moving dancing in fall as I walk. The nurses scratching their head laughing. But I have to take a plan ride of 5 or 6 hours. So I gotta do the most to prevent blood clots.

@ lisajayne it's your Day of Days, update us when your surgery is over. Wishing you, only the best of everything now and in the future!❤?❤

Day two post op. "Eating" my liquid diet. Full after 4 spoons of broth. Came with my best friend. Could not have done it without her.

Hello everyone, June 11th here. I'm constantly bouncing between being super anxious to do it, and waves of fear about what I'm about to do.

I had my first outing with my sleeve today and I think I managed quite well. It wasn’t easy, as my head wanted to indulge, and I was nervous as no one knows I’ve had the surgery.

We went to a birthday party with lots of delicious food and drinks on offer. I stuck to my water all afternoon and joined in on all the non food festivities and had a great time.

I did think and plan ahead though. I’m still on liquids so doubled up my protein needs in my morning smoothie (aka protein shake, but the name change helps me) and added extra protein to my lunchtime broth. I was very satisfied and got all my nutrition in. I also packed a bag beforehand in case I got hungry, thermos of soup. When the hor devours were coming around I feasted with my eyes, not my mouth ?

Even better, no one noticed I wasn’t eating and as I was the designated driver for the day, no one commented on my water intake.
