  1. How did you guys bust out of wls stale? I’m nearly 3 months post op and I’m still at 22 lbs since day of surgery. Trying to break out of the plateau. Any tips would be fantastic :)
  2. Man I cannot eat salads for the life of me! I wish I could! I absolutely loved salads before. If I have a bite or two, I immediately have the urge to vomit. I’ve lost 20 lbs since the pre diet began. Nearly 2 months post op. Have stalled, again. I’m bruising like a sensitive banana! Need to look into iron sups. Just not sure I can stomach more vitamins. Well, summer is nearly over, here’s to being fit and Healthy next summer 2019 :)
  3. After my 3 week wls stall I’m finally out of the 180s and weighing in at 178.

  5. Still have a wls stale. I’m still at 180. But what can you do. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Im not too worried, I’m getting my protein in, same with water( could do better with h20 though.) The scale may not be moving but nothing in my closet fits. So I know my body is changing.

    To tell or not to tell

    Kept the inner circle small. Very small, can’t even make a circle with the 2 people who know ahah. But I like it that way. When you tell people, they think you want their opinion. Which i know isn’t the case.
  7. So I did Zumba tonight. But I had to modify most of the workout. I forgot home much the core is being worked.
  8. Rougly 2 weeks. I don’t really eat too much. I drink my premier protein shakes, I have an egg and some cottage cheese for breakfast, maybe a hard boiled egg with hummus, or albacore tuna. And another shake. Water intake is so hard! Only because I’m used to chugging my water, can’t do that now. So it’s hard. Move started going to the gym. Light activity, tonight I’ll be going to Zumba tho! I love that classs! I’ll maybe download an app and see where I’m going with carbs and micros. My clothing is getting bigger but the scale isn’t moving. Maybe I obsess with it a bit much. I figured once my 2.5 weeks of a period and constipation passed the scale would move. But it’s still at 180.4 im going to see my dr on Wednesday. So. I hope to get some good news. Thanks for your input ladies! It’s appreciated

  10. How have you guys broken past a wls stall? It’s goin to be 1 month post op on the 28th and I’m only 17 lbs down.

    Time to be honest!!!

    It was so very hard! But, just think of it as Oreo for post op. Because you’ll be on that same diet post op. You won’t have hunger pains, but your brain! Your brain, will still want food.
  12. You would love that. But people are sometimes selfish. And sometimes those close to you, are the ones who will Sabotage you the most.
  13. Though I understand. I also come from an eating disorder. Binge and purge. And a family that isn’t supportive: I actually only told a few people. By a few I mean 2! That I’ve gone through vsg. It’s a mind game. You gotta be stronger than the urges. It all starts in the pre diet. Because after surgery you don’t have hunger cravings. Your brain does, but not the stomach. Which is why I said you cannot reply on the support from others because they have no idea what you will be going through.

  15. Honestly you cannot blame others. There is Support, but you must also control yourself. You cannot let what others do effect your new lifestyle.

    Passion tea unsweetened or dopio shots of decaf espresso in a Trenti cup with xxx ice. Then it’s my chocolate or Carmel premier protein. 😍
  17. I took a week off. I have a desk job, so it wasn’t a big deal to me. I was fine on day 3 of post op.
  18. Thanks for the info churchgirl, missb_fit_2018 and purple girl. I am on a restricted diet for the first month of post op. Directed by dr and dietician. After next Thursday, I’ll be on a soft food diet, and after that I’m free to go. It’s hard protein drinks aren’t so bad, I love chocolate premier protein. It’s just hard for dinner at social outings. It’s hard to finish a full glass of water. Since the whole rule about waitin 30 mins before eating or after eating to drink water. I went to the store to buy those magnesium pills. :) and I bought some activia yogurt. I walk at the gym now. I’m still on my period! Gosh can’t it go away already!!! 😬 But I’ll keep trucking, it’s marathon, not a sprint I must remind myself this!
  19. Hey guys! I’m also on a weight loss stale, which I’m partially okay with. I’ve lost 17 lbs, since June 28th. I’m starting my purée diet tomorrow which is a relief. I’m tired of jello, popsicles, and broth. I’m struggling because sorry if it’s TMI but I’m on my period for the second time this month! And goodness, this flow is heavy!!! I even got a yeast infection after taking antibiotics! Something I’ve never experienced. I’m also constipated. It’s a lot to go through for a person in one month. Like I said, sorry for TMI but just checking in and hoping I’m not the only one going through this.
  20. Oh I don’t have hunger pangs either. It’s my brain. It misses the actual act of eating food.
  21. This clear liquid diet is a struggle. I’ve been in a liquid diet since June 20th. But clear liquids is what’s really hard. I’m tired of jello, broth, and water. I know it’s my brain that misses the action of eating food. It’s not even like I’m craving junk. I just really want some retried beans, hummus and cucumbers, Or a grilled chicken salad. I have this clear liquid diet until the 11th then I move on to purée for 2 weeks. 😭 this is mental struggle! I got this, I know I choose this path, Just coming here to vent! Haha
  22. It’s ok, I’m just super hyper sensitive to comments like that. But yes! I heard comments like that too! And I wasn’t even the one having one. It would just be made about random people or girls on Instagram. So i knew not to say anything when my surgery came around. But yes, I requested to have an image of my stomach removal. So a nurse took an image of it.

    Do I make the cut?

    Well, I was sleeved in Mexico on thursday. Came home Saturday afternoon. After having great after care by my surgeon, and even having the leak test. I got a copy of my xxrays, and video. I went that route after years of eating healthy, and exercise but still being overweight. My doctor basically told me, you’re just big boned. 😒 It’s something to look into. My doctor has given me his contact info, a diet plan, meds, and expects me back in 2 weeks. Just do your research, and don’t let others tell you otherwise! For the US they want you to be 40 BMI, but other countries say otherwise. (Not just Mexico) Good luck :)
