Any March 2018 Sleevers?

Its also called Dynahex and Betasept, chlorohexidine is its generic name. [emoji40]The use of generic is a lot more prevalent these days because Brand Name is much more expensive.[emoji38]

Well, I know it wasnt the hibiclens. They gave us a bottle pre-op and we had to wash our entire body with it the night before and the morning of surgery. The only place I broke out in hives was in the exact shape and area where I had the orange prep after surgery. It was in the exact line of where they prepped me, even my surgeon noticed it immediately when I came in after the hives popped up.

I just finished week 3, down 14# since surgery. I'm not necessarily hungry but sometimes I just want to EAT, if that makes sense. I am eating 4 meals a day spaced 4 hours apart: shakes and softs.

I am a little over 3 weeks out, and down 13 lbs since surgery. Last night I just couldn't get a grilled cheese out of my head. Still on puree foods per Nutritionist, but I stick to shakes and cream of Tomato Soup. I graduate to soft foods on 4/6.

You might be eating too big of pieces or too much in one sitting. Try eating slower and smaller. Keep taking the laxative. My doctor recommended I take the Miralax every day until I was able to go regularly without it. I now just take colace whenever I need it.

WLS 3/30 post op day 6. Had trouble with my lithium meds when I introduced them day 2. Caused all day diarrhea for 2 days. My psychiatrist recommended reintroducing after a couple weeks. New stomach also can not tolerate the Protein Shake I had been using pre-op. Ugh. Switched to GENEPRO medical grade Protein dded to chicken broth and doing fine. Watered down poweraid zero to make it less sweet and that is nice option to Water. I tried 2oz of plain Greek yogurt on day 4&5 but the hives I have had since day of surgery have gotten progressively worse and I need to cut that out as well. 3 more days to purée! Never been so excited

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
