January Sleevers Check-In

Just curious to see how my fellow January sleevers are doing. I had a very rough first week and prolonged hospital stay, but doing much better and every day gets a little bit easier. When I started my 2 week pre-op diet I was 336. Got down to 318 day of surgery and as of this morning am down to 298. That makes it around 38 lbs lost in 5 weeks. I'll take it!

Where are all the January people hiding at!? Hope everyone is doing well. As of today I'm down 40 lbs! Only bummer is I have picked up a cold with a terrible cough. Trying to survive the day at work.

My sleeve was done on 1/3, so I'm at 6wks post op. I'm down 37.5 pounds!

Hi all, I was sleeved on 16th Jan, starting weight was 236 and I am now down to 213, I have lost almost 23lb

Sleeve on 1/25 and down 42.7, still in disbelief.

Started at 360, never thought I'd be this close to under 300 again.

Awesome you guys! I remember looking back on my first week and home and hardly losing anything thinking this is going so slow, then things kicked into gear and now I can't believe the difference in just over a month.

@jeichman I just broke through the 300 barrier the other day. First time I've been under 300 in a good 5 years. You'll be there soon enough!

I was sleeved 1/10. Surgery day I was 288 and today I am 264. I think I've hit one of those dreaded stalls that everyone was talking about

1/30/17-18 days out and 20 pounds down. I want the taste of some real food. Step 2--Doesn't seem that much different from Step 1.

Sleeved 1/31 I'm only down 12 pounds since my surgery.
It is becoming discouraging. I regret having the surgery now because I'm scared I won't loose the weight.

Black2028-Take it slow. I remember going through that just as well. I thought I was crazy for doing it but now I realize it's up to me to make these serious changes. Give it some more time Black and be positive. I'm here if you need to chat.
