Too funny! I have not experienced a lot of comments like this yet, but I expect to start hearing them more and more once I get under 200.

It's really funny because people have NO idea about WLS and exactly what it is. I told both my best friends and one has had it, so she's informed but the other, bless her heart, asked me if I look different and can I send her a picture lol I didn't take offense because she's been super supportive as well but she just doesn't get it (as I've already tried to explain what it was) I just told her it's not like I got Lipo or a Tummy Tuck I still have to change the way I eat and exercise this just helps me lose and keep the weight off

It is a total myth that this is easy. I am putting in a lot of work so that one day I will achieve my weight loss goals. Then there is the lifetime of staying fit and healthy. I love this life but it is not easy.

That's the million dollar question and it takes a million dollar answer! Hell No It's Not Easy ! Your worth is in the WORK you put into it! ITS LIKE WORKING AT A STEEL MEEL BACK IN THE DAY! But at the end of the day or journey the result is WORTH IT and the end result is DARN GOOD!????‍♀️????‍♀️!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
