Too funny! I have not experienced a lot of comments like this yet, but I expect to start hearing them more and more once I get under 200.

It's really funny because people have NO idea about WLS and exactly what it is. I told both my best friends and one has had it, so she's informed but the other, bless her heart, asked me if I look different and can I send her a picture lol I didn't take offense because she's been super supportive as well but she just doesn't get it (as I've already tried to explain what it was) I just told her it's not like I got lipo or a tummy tuck I still have to change the way I eat and exercise this just helps me lose and keep the weight off

Shole tf aint!

It is a total myth that this is easy. I am putting in a lot of work so that one day I will achieve my weight loss goals. Then there is the lifetime of staying fit and healthy. I love this life but it is not easy.

That's the million dollar question and it takes a million dollar answer! Hell No It's Not Easy ! Your worth is in the WORK you put into it! ITS LIKE WORKING AT A STEEL MEEL BACK IN THE DAY! But at the end of the day or journey the result is WORTH IT and the end result is DARN GOOD!????‍♀️????‍♀️!

10 yrs post op..... seriously battling 32 lb regain after a 175 lb weight loss. My advice..... RNY should not be an option except for extreme cases of morbid obesity. It requires 100% commitment 24/7 365 days of the year. If you're not ready to love yourself...... any permanent weight loss program will not fill the void.
