  1. It has a lot of carbs. I have it every once in a while.
  2. Don't do it... it may not hurt you, but you'll get back into drinking it. It's not good for you/us.
  3. I was 3 months yesterday. I don't sip...but I don't gulp either. Try it out for yourself... you'll see that if you gulp it may hurt a little.
  4. It depends on your individual case. My Dr. didn't want me lifting anything heavier than 10lbs for the month. So make sure you listen to your surgeon.
  5. Please contact your Dr. This doesn't sound right. Good luck...and feel better.
  6. I will be 3 months post op on 3/6. I'm in my 2nd stall. My first came at about one month snd my second at about two months, which I believe is ending now; as I lost 1lb since yesterday. So don't worry, it won't last forever. It's frustrating, but it's part of the cycle. Good luck.
  7. OMG, I think you guys are reading my mind. At 11 weeks post-op, I've finally decided to venture out to the movies today with my grandkids. My only reason for EVER going in the past was the popcorn with the extra added butter. Now I'm afraid that if I start, I won't be able to stop. Guess I'll have to exercise my willpower and not have any. I've never dumped before and would hate to have my first time be today.
  8. I'm 2.5 months out and check my weight every morning. I've been stalled for several weeks. I've lost 30 lbs so far. Hoping to start losing again soon.
  9. My Dr let me have string cheese during my soft foods. Yummy and 6 grams of protein!
  10. I'm so sorry for your loss. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  11. Smooth Moves, Miralax, Colace and my prescription for Linzess and still no relief. I go every 2 weeks... I'm fed up.
  12. Definitely Premier! Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  13. I had surgery 12/6 and had one drink on New Year' Eve, no issues. I had a drink at 6 weeks, no issues. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App

  16. I am 6 weeks out, sleeved on 12/6. I've lost 24lbs altogether. I saw my surgeon today. They advised me that I'm right on track and that my weight loss is exactly where it's supposed to be. My starting weight was 214, surgery weight 205 and current weight 190. They also advised me that I could now eat chicken thighs and cooked veggies if I'm still not full. I exercise 4-5 times per week for 45 minutes to an hour. Getting my protein and fluids is difficult, but I'm trying hard. Sounds like you're right where you should be. Contact your surgeon or your nutritionist. Good luck!
  17. You should be fine. My pre-op diet started two days before Thanksgiving. I was told I could have a light dinner by my NUT, which is much more than a small portion of lasagna. I lost about 8 lbs. during that time...So don't worry yourself. Stay strong and good luck! Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  18. Most surgeons state that you must have a BMI of 40 or higher or 35 or higher with at least one co-morbidity. My BMI was 34, but I had slight sleep apnea (I didn''t use a c-pap machine), so I was approved. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  19. Sleeve 12/6/16 HW: 214 Pre-op wt: 212 Surgery wt: 205 Current wt: 193 Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  20. Thank you ladies for telling us exactly how you feel. These are my sentiments as well. I was sleeved on 12/6, which was over a month ago... I've lost 12 lbs since the surgery and pre-op I lost 7 lbs. So, in the past 7 weeks, I've lost 19 lbs in total. However, I've been at the same weight now, for the past 3 weeks!!! I try to remain optimistic, but it's hard. Especially when I read all the posts of 50, 60 and more lbs lost by people that were sleeved after me. Ughhhh!!! HW 214 PRE-OP 212 SW. 205 CURRENT. 193
