MsDad glad to hear you are doing well. As far as the editing... i'm the queen of typos so i've mastered editing with all the smilies! copy the post from this screen when you see an error, click edit, highlight all the smilies then paste what you just copied over them, then edit and re post! works every time. :) hope that helps ya!

And for the girl/girl sex... and the mulitiples, i'm a multiple girl and my partner is a one and done. lol she's always like "how many more!" hahaha i say till i can't take it anymore! and again i say "ah the joys of lesbian sex"

who would of thought a thread for the gay community full of info on lapband with bonuses on sex, masturbation, and RVs. could it get any better!? The others aint got sh*t on us!

i have a request... could everyone post a pic of themselves on here so we can put a face to the names? Pretty please. I've posted some already. I just want to see everyones smiling faces!!!!

Hey Dee, it's a 42' diesel pusher with five slides. :) Yeah, I know, it's a big one. A couple feet longer and we would have had to have a tag axle. But Sean and I are going to be living in it in a couple of years, for at least a year, maybe two so we decided to go ahead and bite the bullet and go for it.

I had my post-op appointment this morning. I can eat real food (whatever I can tolerate). Woo hoo! Skinny City, here I come!!!:clap2: The down side is that I do have to go back to work this afternoon. :tired <crickets chirping>. At any rate, I do have time to do to the gym for my (hopefully) 20 minutes on the treadmill.

Where do you work? I was thrilled to have my full two weeks off with the surgery. I want another extended time off, but with out surgery!

I work for a bank. I could have milked it for a little longer, but I have a new employee and I didn't want to throw her under the bus for any longer than necessary.

And I did get in my 20 minutes on the treadmill this morning!! YAY!

We are nasty little bunch of banded folk, huh? Let me add to it!

Eddie I love your humpin' 'nanas. Gets me all steamy cuz you know us girls (with the help of silcone and leather) like it like that too.

I love this thread!

This is definitely the best thread on here.

What, Stevee, this isn't enough of my face for you? :( I'm just a little shy...

You are brave to head back to work so quickly, Eddie. I'm taking more than 2 weeks off. I have my own company and I work out of the house, so I don't have to deal with bosses/coworkers/etc., but I have clients. I'm not telling anyone that I'm having the surgery, but I've told all my clients that I need to dedicate those 2 weeks to another client's project, and they are all cool with that. And, frankly, it's the truth. I am the client and my lapband is my project.

Lucy

That's fantastic. The band is indeed a project that needs some focused attention, especially in the beginning.

Good for you.

All-

I'm off in a few hours to head north to the GF's place for the weekend. :) I'll be on the road in 3 hours if the cost of gas doesn't bankrupt me! RV Eddie, you've got to tell us what it costs to fill your new road machine so we can all have a collective gasp!

We have bike rides on the agenda, shopping for bras and grilling some good for us food planned. I'm so excited I could burst!

Yeah, the bras, you know you have a good friend when she tells you, wow you look great, you'd look even better if got a new bra to pick the girls up! This is from a 50 year old straight woman! God love her.

So I'm going to see what I can find this weekend!

Peace my queer buddies.

J

Juli~ Hve fun this weekend. Enjoy every minute!

Stevee~I posted a really bad pic of my nephew and I a page or 2 back. He is much cuter than I am. I can't post a pic of DP because of her job in the military. But she looks just like Ellen, and actually had a number of people ask if it was Ellen. She to the taping of the "Ellen in the Park" show 2 weeks ago, and everyone was going crazy at first thinking she was Ellen! Like Ellen would stand in line to see her own show, but acutually, that is something she might do! Anyway, she is a cutie!

I had the pleasure of testing out the "old stomach muscles" last night, and I am happy to report...all is well. :)

We are off to Phoenix today to visit MIL and relax!!! Have a great weekend...be careful (I can't help it, I am an Italian woman)...wear your seat belts. Eddie, enjoy the "shakedown cruise". Wonder if DP could handle a rig like that???? Sounds like fun, I just could never drive it.

ENJOY...HAPPY MEMORIAL WEEKEND!!!! XOXOXOXOXOX

I can relate. My friend at work actually had a "talk" with me about my saggy boobs! She said she had even consulted with her mom to figure out how to tell me that my boobs looked horrible and I needed to get new bras! Her mom said "you just have to come out and tell her" LOL. She was very happy when I walked in with some new underwires. Hey, losing 90 pounds is great but it sure doesn't do the boobs any favors, ya know?

Hello Everyone! It is really nice to find a GLBT group (thread) for LapBand folk. I didn't think there was one out there for us. I have just started doing my research, and attended a seminar this week. I really like the thought of having the surgery done. I think I would do it in a heartbeat, but I need to make sure I have the money first. I think the benefits to my health will outweigh any costs. I am 31, 5'11” and 302 lbs and my BMI is 42. I would love to lose the weight so I can do more and get off some of these meds. Anways, I just wanted to drop and thank ya'll for sharing your information on here. Ya'll are a cool and funny bunch.

Thanks for filling us in! :P Seriously though, how did it go? My appointment for my first fill is July 3 and I'm more than a bit apprehensive about it. DH has had two already and says they're no big deal, but both times he was still sore a day or so afterwards.

Have a safe trip Juli! Don't do anything I can't do yet! :D

Lucy, I would have loved to take two weeks off, but it just wasn't feasible. It's great that you're able to take that time off.

Everyone have a GREAT weekend!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
