What is everyone NOT going to miss after sleeve?

Recommended Posts

I agree with mostly everything above, but most of all, I will not miss sweating excessively, throughout the years, the more weight I gain the more I sweat, I cannot even wear makeup to work because by the time I get there, it's all off and on my napkins. And I definitly won't miss the guilty feeling after stuffing my face. I would eat and eat and once I realize it's all gone, i'll feel horrible knowing I ate it all. Hate that feeling.

I'm not sleeved yet a Clp more months to go, but when I am my list has everything I have seen here. Some really huge ones for me is, 1.Crying in the dressing room when I can't fit into clothes that would look fabulous on me!!! 2.Not going to Theme Parks with my family and friends because I know I won't fit into any of the rides (That's so humiliating) 3.I won't miss feeling like my boyfriend's eyes are on every women with a better shape then me when we go places! 4.Not being able to dance the way I really wont to, because I have a huge passion for it and so does my daughter. Just can't wait to be truly free mind, body, and soul!

I heard this tonight from someone and I thought that I would share it. What I definitely won't miss is a woman telling me that I "would be such a good looking man if I just lost some weight". Well tonight it really rubbed me the wrong way.....and I said, " ya know, I'm handsome now and in 6 months I WILL BE SKINNY and in shape and you will still be a b***h!!!"

Ha ha...Yassss that's what I'm talking about!!!!

I do not and will not miss my shelf that the top of my bum had. This is something that my hubby loved to rub and grab but I absolutely hated it. I am glad its gone. It's like someone shaved it off.

I will not miss that fat lump on my neck.

I will not miss the odor. I feel comfortable being around people now.

I will not miss my fat head or face.

I just told my friend my goal is to put on a pair of boots and zip them up over my skinny calves!!

Never even tried to buy or try them on. I knew it would not work. I can't wait to get a pair.

Wow there's so many things I won't miss about being fat like turning down invitations to go places because I'm too embarrassed, telling my son that we can't go zip lining , or horseback riding , or go on amusement rides or bike rides Or waterslides together because I'm over the weight limit. I won't miss hurting every day, trying to figure out something to wear that hides my body, sweating all the time, not being able to cross my legs or tie my shoes or find any shoes that fit for that matter let alone boots. Won't miss being hungry all the time. Won't miss looking at my fat face or worrying if I'm gonna break a chair or fit in a booth worrying about a stroke or becoming diabetic. Won't miss NOT being able to walk or run or stand up at church or shop in regular stores. I won't miss turning away from old friends and being ashamed to see people from my past. I won't miss being depressed and unhappy I won't miss being alone! I made a list of reasons why I want to live it's amazing when you put it in writing what we each deal with every day!

I won't miss going into the big stall because he's not in the room and the others, I won't miss the skin tags I get everywhere, I won't miss not being able to wear skirts because I get a rash between my legs, or the leg pimples I heard mentioned earlier post, I won't miss bending over and hearing the wire under my bra snap in half, won't miss my underwear rolling down my fat roll.... Damn there's a lot I won't miss!

As I am about to get ready for work, another thing I will not miss is having to wear so many things under my scrubs. Everyday I have to wear a girdle and Spanx underneath my uniform because scrubs are so light of a material, every lump and bump shows. It's bad enough I am hot already, but with the added materials and the fact that I try to keep a sweater on to hide my arms, it's just too much. I can't wait to be able to wear just a bra and panty with my clothes and not all these extra items.

I have to be honest, I didn't work hard at all to get rid of that. One of the first things to go down was my bum and that shelf, lol. Hopefully you will be the same.

Where are you from Sleeve Sistah?

I'm not going to miss bumping into walls, worrying about fitting into chairs - especially airplane seats, having to shop at plus size stores and so much more! What about you?

What are you going to try as you get smaller? I want to try rock wall climbing!

I am not going to miss the raw area under my bra

Struggling to buckle my seat belt! I have a sports car - looking forward to not struggling to fasten and unfasten belt. Also looking coward to not requesting the seat extension in planes.

I've always wanted to take a pole dancing class. Hopefully once I'm smaller that will be something that I would like to try.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
