What ya eating tonight?

I had a small sweet potato, with a tablespoon of i cant believe its butter,

And i boiled a boneless skinless chicken breast. With salt and pepper, curry, garlic powder and some soul food seasoning. After it cooked i put a tablespoon of BBQ sauce to the side so the bites of chicken wouldnt be to dry,

All was good, filled up quick even tho i was slow eating

Tonight i had KFC grilled chix, pulled the skin off. A leg and thigh and those thighs have 22 grams of protein. Also had a small green bean and a small mac and cheese. Ate all the meat but not all of the sides. Was good to eat

1/2 cup of broccoli cheddar chicken chowder. Just snacked on some lunch meat and a pickle because I'm way short on protein and calories. Being sick takes away any desire to eat.

Wow' date=' old hippie gal. My doc said nothing but Protein for the first 3 months! I cheat every now and then and have some vegetables, but no starches yet. I'm 5 weeks out.

I think it is funny how every doctor has different guidelines- I am told to eat as much protein as possible, and always protein first in any meal, but On my safe list is toast, cooked veggies, soft fruits, crackers, pretzels, low sugar Breakfast cereals, eggs, cheese, cottage cheese and of course the rest of your normal list of Proteins.

Turkey meatballs with homemade tomato sauce
