What ya eating tonight?

I had a small sweet potato, with a tablespoon of i cant believe its butter,

And i boiled a boneless skinless chicken breast. With salt and pepper, curry, garlic powder and some soul food seasoning. After it cooked i put a tablespoon of BBQ sauce to the side so the bites of chicken wouldnt be to dry,

All was good, filled up quick even tho i was slow eating

Tonight, it's some chicken from my husband's Moo Goo Gai Pan and some from my daughter's Chicken and Broccoli.

Rotisserie chicken leg and 4 Brussels sprouts YUM!

I'm thinking about trying tuna for the first time. If I do I'll blenderize it with chicken stock so that the tuna is pasty. I haven't tried a side since I use applesauce to take meds.

Quinoa grecian salad - quinoa cooked in chicken stock - let it cool, diced up tomato, cucumbers , onion and some feta cheese can also add olives. Dressing red wine vinegar and fresh lemon juice, salt and pepper. Had that last night and ill be having it again today as it makes a fair bit, my tummy likes it and the quinoa helps me keep regular!. Ill be buying a rotisserie chicken at lunch later today and mix a bit of that in my salad just to mix it up ????. This salad/meal is quite versatile.

1/2 of an Adkins Beef & broccoli frozen meal. I'm new to dense food and not very brave yet! The beef & broccoli were both soft and easy to chew. My doctor & nut told me I had to up my salt intake so I figured a frozen meal would do the trick.

My dinner was 1/2 johnsonville brat patty, 1tbsp ketchup, pickle slices and 2tbsp chocolate pb2.

1/4c of homemade tuna salad and a mini Babybel light cheese wedge. Didn't finish it though.

Surgery was April 8. Just now stepping into the unknown with soft foods. Tolerating everything well, but can definitely feel when I am full. For the moment, until I can get all my protein from food, I have a protein shake (30gms protein) in the morning and another in the evening so I am meeting the 60gms minimum. Have been able to eat yogurt, homemade egg salad, SF jello puddings, potted meat (12gms protein!) and apple sauce. Down 18 since the surgery and finally feeling like a human again. Can't wait to try some of these amazing recipes posted on this forum!

Turkey meatballs with homemade tomato sauce

. I made these in my crockpot. Then froze them to take to work for lunch. I also found some tiny ravioli. About half Inch square. I figure I could made 4 or 5 of those to eat with the turkey balls. I miss Pasta and pizza more than anything.

Also if you put provolone cheese in the oven till it melts and the edges turn brown. It taste like bacon and great on sandwiches.

I made chicken noodle soup and white rice. My daughter is sick.

Teriyaki chicken from Panda Express. No rice or noodles. Just the chicken and four small bites of zucchini out of my husband's meal. I got the small a la carte entree and ate about half ( 2.5 ounces).
